Just tried doing this, your door card is squashing your speaker, there is no way the 6.5 can fit without touching the door plastic…..

I think different design speakers could have different result. Compare yours to mine, you may see the difference. As u can see my speakers are so thick. But the door panel still fits perfectly as I showed in the video picture.

@@ChannelMAsk put your hand inside the panel with the speaker Grille off, i bet it hits your Door Plastic at the top where you can't see.
