The idea the Bill Seacaster is running a magic mlm from hell is hilarious.
It's especially brilliant if you consider that the usual soul-selling thing is a one-time purchase, whereas Bill is basically using a subscription model. Since souls are the main currency of Hell, I assume he then trades the gold with other demons for souls, meaning each Warlock he binds with can potentially give him more than a single soul's worth of gold.
Wow. Brennan's, "No, we are NOT having another Hilda Hilda moment here!" killed me.

I like the idea that he came personally to Leviathan, rallied everyone around, and had them repeat his name without forgetting the Aramais. Those who’d forget it would get shot in their brown eye so they’d never forget again!
It’s likely that he did (unless I’m remembering wrong) but when Fabian introduced himself he only said he was Fabian Seacaster son of Bill Seacastor meaning no one there should know his middle name unless they had prior knowledge

I honestly love how the first interaction with Alistair Ash includes a fairly blatant call out by Brennan about how everyone (especially Emily) never thinks about the long term consequences of lying to his NPCs and the entire party just skips past it because they're so concerned that someone other than them has just lied to an NPC.

It is amazing how, in the midst of all the high stakes adventuring going on, they've gotten me to care the most about if these fragile romantic relationships will be okay. I desperately want Sandralynn and Jawbone to stay together, and I keep stressing about Gorgug and Zelda... And these are just suposed to be the background subplots!!

Loved them trying to scheme about getting out of paying for the van and go “wait can she hear us?” and brennan’s like yes she’s right there and they just slide the van door closed. Dungeons and daddies had like the exact same interaction of just hiding in their van to suddenly have a private convo, it’s really cracks me up

DAMN, when I tell you I Fabian's trash talk absolutely hyped me up when it happened, I was absolutely ecstatic. I literally had to pause it and walk to my kitchen, it was that awesome. That tense moment was amazing and I didn't know how it would go. I loved the way it went and Lou plays his character amazingly. Thank you Dimension 20 for releasing Sophomore Year on TH-cam!!

Also, I have to wonder - when Leviathan was first mentioned, it was Fabian describing to the group what it was, but in the moment it also seemed like Brennan deferred to him to describe it, leaving me to wonder if Lou was briefed on it because it's part of his history, or if Brennan simply went with what Fabian said and ran with it. I mean, he often does that on the spot, and flawlessly
Watching Riz and Fabian explain life while on "powdered snuff" (probably the same substance that Chevy Chase would describe as "back medicine") blew me away.

Though now that I've said that, I suppose in a place like Leviathan (and in a completely different world) there's no real reason why snuff shouldn't mean something else.

These people have spent hours upon hours of their lives to make this content - the actors, the set designers, the make up artists, the camera operators, the captioning team, etc etc etc etc. This is their job. It’s 17c a day for a subscription to support these wonderful people who don’t owe us any free content at all. They’re likely not going to put season 3 on TH-cam. The only reason they put season 2 on TH-cam was because of season 3s release.
Yea ok but other big teams/companies release their content for free and then rely on their whales to buy their merch etc. I think brennan is being consistently gatekept behind a subscription which is a hard NO for a lot of people. Like i said, as a principle, im not buying anything that is subscription based.@@strangeity I genuinely wish these people the best, and all the successes int he world. I think this is one business model, but there are others, non subscription based that clearly work well. Im just not willing to pay for a limited time access to this stuff.

I agree that as long as Sandralynn shares her adventures with Jawbone he would be cool with it - because he stated he was Poly and he is fine with sex outside of relationships it was Sandralynn that was pushing for Monogamy.
So, as someone who skirts the line between monogamy and ethical non-monogamy, the whole thing really boils down to an agreement between all parties involved. If I'm with someone who wants to be monogamous, then as far as I'm concerned, we're monogamous. If we have a pre-existing open relationship like "hey, if you're on a trip without me and hookup with someone, it's cool," then it's cool. But if I'm with someone who expects monogamy out of me, but then goes and sleeps with someone else, that might not be cool. Every relationship is gonna be different, but in this case, Jawbone may have been open to Sandra exploring an open relationship with someone he knew, like Gilear, but that doesn't necessarily mean he was ok with her fucking this random pirate she just met.

i love that at the start the PC’s give off combat vibes and then come to learn that most people on Leviathan are on the level which gave them a false sense of security and Kalina was able to attack that. These episodes being back to back is absolutely incredible.
Biz and Fabians spontaneous coked out affirmations about the memento tattoos is so great. Every Ep is special in some way, but the last couple have been top tier for many, many reasons

Question! I am new to D20. I just finished watching Season 1 of Fantasy High and loved the hell out of it. Should I keep going through the different campaigns in order, or jump into this Sophomore year next? Does it matter? Thanks for any advice!
hi!! i would say it doesn't particularly matter, but i think going for sophmore year next would be fun as you'll still be at the current peak of investment with the story and characters. i love all of the seasons, personally, and i don't think it matters TOO much what order you watch them in, but if you want more of the fantasy high kids first then go for sophmore year :] enjoy!!!
Order doesn't really matter. This one's fine for a second campaign since it's a continuation of Season 1! If you're looking for a campaign after this though I recommend Starstruck Odyssey (my personal fave) or, if you want a shorter season, Mentopolis (probs my second fave)!

Also personally recommending Neverafter, Escape From the Bloodkeep, A Court of Fey and Flowers, and the current season (Burrows End) though I’ve watched every season and can say literally all of them are really fun and worth a watch

The Seven (spin off, also Aguefort)

The rest of D20 campaigns take place in different worlds - Candia has two seasons though, A Crown of Candy & The Ravening War.
Isn’t Johnny Spells and his gang tieflings? Or are they meaning first tiefling they’ve met as a friend and not enemies.
I think they just forgot, there's a fairly big gap between recording seasons and I think they've recorded a different campaign in between too.
