A med student here that was in tijuana where I dislocated my shoulder. I was given Valium, Diazapam and Oxycodone but they couldn't relocate. Lastly they gave 10mg IV ketamine and the after effects felt like death. I had to go to the ED a second time because I thought I was dying. Did they give me too much Ketamine?
First few times I took Ketamine recreationally, I thought I was dying and started freaking out. I think if you know you arent going to die and tell yourself that, then you will be fine
