@@JPCo17 always a pleasure on an A340 but yes the product needs an update. What didn't go so well for you on the flight? Was it full and did you have to sit next to someone?
I will NEVER again fly Lufthansa on a long haul flight! For the money I paid for a round trip business class between San Diego and Rome, I certainly expected better and friendlier service. The business class configuration was 2-2-2. ! Next time I take ITA airlines none stop from LAX. They have a 1-2-1 business class layout, and the service is EXCELLENT, which one can’t say about Lufthansa ! Thanks for this informative video, I wasn’t aware that in business class there is a 2-3-2 configuration! WOW 😮
So it seems to depend on the plane. Some are configured in a 2:2:2 and as I mentioned it was a very pleasant experience but could have been different if the cabin was full. In some ways it's a little like hotels, the one that has just recently refurbished tends to be the nicest. I'm hoping to try Lufthansa's new Allegris product this year so may be give it a few years and try them again. If you get the chance let us know. Very curious to see what ITA are like . Thanks for watching! 🙂
Small correction: Condor is not part of the Lufthansa Group. It was formerly owned by Thomas Cook, which went bankrupt, and is not to be confused with the Lufthansa Group's leisure airline Discover, which also has a blue and yellow striped livery. Condor's livery is very distinctive and has been a source of much controversy, and excellent marketing for its new brand redesign starting 2022.
Thank you, yes a few people have mentioned this. Clearly I was the last one to know 😂 Totally agree, I have heard a few not many moan about the livery but I think it's brilliant especially as they decided to go with so many colours. Truely iconic! 💛💙❤️💚🖤

We have flown on 747s many times, from long ago when there was a bar to the current renditions. Since my husband and I always travel together, the seating has never bothered me. What always concerns me is how well-maintained they were. Your flight looked like a fine one.
Yes to be fair to the age of the product it didn't have any major wear and tear. They look very new. Unlike some airlines who have had their product a few years.
