- "How to maintain water garden without mosquitoes " In the above video problems of maintaining a water garden are discussed as how the water turns murky with development of algae,mosquito threats etc. The setup for water garden are discussed..like the size of the container, the soil preparation,the aquatic plant selection ,the care to be taken while installation ,the experiences of the creator etc were discussed. Then addition of some fish varieties, their breeding ,and advatages of reaing fish in the watergarden are discussed. The symbiosis between aquatic plants and fish,the echo system etc were discussed.

Hi madhavi... been watching your videos for past few weeks. Great job. Your lilly pond is beautiful.
I have kept a lilly pond too on my terrace but in a plastic tub. Initially i had kept 3 lilly plants in small plastic pots and kept them all immersed in the large water tub. This was mainly provide anchor to the plants. I also had put 3 varieties of small fishes. Pond remained clean as removing fishes and changing water was easy.
It has been two years and it has developed roots. So i have shifted them directly to the bigger tub with red loamy soil with manure. But is forming layers if green alga on top and sides of the tub. How can i prevent that?

Even I started my water eco system with 4 pairs of guppies..
They became almost more than 100 fishes in time
Also I used to give dried blood warms feed to my fishes to grow then healthy

It is raining very heavily here continuesly from last 15-20 days. Is it safe to add fish to the pond or any alternative to maintain temperatures in the pond other than heaters as the water is very cold In the pond or can fish survive in this temperature??

Quick question. During freezing temperatures I bring my Jasmine plants indoors.after a month I see white fungus forming on the stems.im puzzled and worried. Do you know the reason?
That may be powdery mildew...which may be due to too much moisture in and around plants,....🙌 not sure about the conditions there.
@@MADGARDENER Extreme conditions up to -30 and above. Is there a home remedy solution to it?I dont over water them too in winters.Karvepaaku ,Money plant.Kanakambaram.Banana plant including Tamalapaaku plant all thriving well except jasmine..My bad...
Ensure that there is air circulation and vetilation around the plant. Isolate the affected plant.For cure...diluted milk works well,neem oil n soap,baking soda with soap .you can try any of these diluted.Prune the affected leaves,clear the white powdery substance with cloth then apply.

A Lotus is growing Lilly in with a pinky colour letting colourless fish. Looks good. But the pot could be little more larger with oval shaped, would be looking still better.
