Sewing a Ren Faire skirt!🍄⚔️ ✨ren faire, cottage core, hobbitcore, fantasy Cosplay✨

Tested my sewing abilities with this project but I am very happy with the results! Let me know what I should create next! I am thinking I might have another go at a chemise. Thoughts? Feelings? Any who, I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial and maybe even use it for your own ren faire inspo! Love you guys!

The second you brought the zipper out I’m like oh girl don’t even fuck with that! I’ve been sewing for a year in a half too and I don’t ever fuck with zippers because they are so hard to sew on properly. It doesn’t help that I don’t have a zipper foot, maybe that would make it better. The skirt turned out very pretty! Your inspo pic looked to me like a pleated skirt vs a gathered skirt, but both are nice looking.

Zipper feet are 100% worth it, but zippers themselves are 100% not 😂

After having my sewing machine for 10+ years now I just found a zipper foot because zipper scared me too 😂

Loved your quirky humor, especially the chomping clips, they reminded me of fighting crabs XD I'm gonna be making myself a few skirts here soon and your video helped me more than I'm sure you'd expect. So thanks for sharing what you did! It helped me see that I can keep it stoopid simple and end up with something really pretty :D
