  • Unreported World follows the private detective and armed bounty hunters trying to rescue teenagers from Houston’s sex trafficking underworld.
Reporter Yousra Elbagir follows the heart-breaking search of one mother looking for her daughter Kristen, who was trafficked into prostitution when she was just 15 years old.
The city of Houston, Texas, is at the centre of a sex trafficking crack-down. There are more reported cases of child sex trafficking here than any other city in the United States.
And across Texas it’s estimated there are at least 80,000 children and young people forced into the industry in recent years, usually by people they know. The problem has become so bad that Texas is now the first state to make buying sex a felony, punishable by at least 6 months in prison.

Why is that if a dog bites a kid then it will be put down but if a man abuses a child then they get a few months in jail ? Sick society we live in!!!

I used to be a dancer in Houston Texas. I went one year during the All-Star game, and there was a young lady dancing at the club, who I found crying in the bathroom. She was being traffic from state to state by some man she couldn’t get away from. She had an ID saying she was 19 years old, but she was only 17 years old. My best friend and I snuck her out of the back door of the club and took her to our hotel room. We called her mom and we purchased her a ticket back home to Indiana. These things happen more often than people know.

And how exactly do you know that her parents were not involved with her getting trafficked?
There have been endless cases here in Western Europe, where parents (who sometimes also would have been groomed and trafficked - so it's normalized through generations) would willingly sell their children into circles of wealthy, aristocrats, politicians celebs etc, who would groom, rape, torture and sometimes kill children.
Not saying that what you and your friend did isn't an act of pure kindness and I really like it, but how did she end up with that guy in the first place?

@@moodcatching I get what you're saying. That IS a practice (unfortunately). But at 17yo, that girl understood how she got there and whether her family was the cause or not.
But, I will give it to you, calling the police would have been appropriate even if calling the mother, too. The authorities do need to be involved. This crap ain't gonna stop on its own.

I escaped trafficking myself. I was 21, kidnapped, raped and drugged. I got away but I had to beg for my life. I remember begging for him to stop hurting me. I'm 37 now but I can remember quite a bit of those three days and pretty clearly, too. I ended up lying to him and telling him that I was starting to fall in love with him and I knew of other girls. Well, the POS thought I was serious. The first chance I got to run, I ran and didn't stop until I knew he couldn't get to me.

Seeing 15 year old girls in what their adult sister wears, because that's what they do.. probably borrowing some make up, when possible. Since no normal man would hurt a child, but you can't know what you don't know. No one is a mind reader, or have a sign that display age.
And there are women promoting and/or displaying promiscuous behaviour on tv and it doesn't need an education.
It isn't just men in the tv business pushing it on us, because if it is not being watched then it will disappear quickly. Or is it actually all the cameramen, who put their camera where they shouldn't?
Why don't we get men to just stop bothering women all together?
No more advances, no more dinner requests, no more flowers, no more courting, no more awkward situations.. from now on the parents decide. Like it should be...

I’ve been a stripper for 20 years willingly. The amount of shit I’ve seen is disturbing. I’ve tried to help silently to save a few girls and have. I’ve seen girls disappear and the stripclub are hubs for it. And your drug dealers are also trafficking and your elite and business men and everyday people including police in on it and buying them. It’s scary it’s sad I’m writing a book and I’m going to continue helping. I’m still pretty enough to dance and be incognito. I was sent to Virgin Islands and saw a 6 year old girl in a brothel. I escaped and flew back home when I realized it was not a “stripclub” but a house for prostitutes.:( 😢
It’s so much deeper then people realize. I hope to help one day and get my story out.

First, I am so very sorry to those of y'all that have been taken advantage of. It's not your fault. It never was and never will be. The adults around you, family or not, they failed you. They failed to keep you safe. Never, even for a second, think that you bear some of the fault. You we're kids. Kids can make mistakes but they can not be at fault for these type of actions taken by adults. Kids can only be victimized and taken advantage of.
I hope you love yourselves and don't lose your ability to trust in others. I know it's hard. I know it leaves you vulnerable to be taken advantage of and can lead to disappointment and hurt but there are good people out there. You just have to be skeptical of everyone and cautious with whom you give you trust. Start slow. There is no rush.
Third, I hope someone steps up and cleans that area out. Those people need to be wiped off the face of the planet. Anyone that can hurt kids don't deserve a second chance or freedom or community.

I was so close to getting trafficked twice. I had 2 men trying to lure me in with the Romeo method but something in my heart told me that their intentions were not pure. I almost became glamorized by the money and the idea that I wouldn’t be alone. They lied and said I’d only be a dancer, but they slipped up and said things that made it clear it would be sex. I cut them off and blocked them once I realized. One of them even came back to my club to find me, found another girl and took her to Vegas to a concert. I almost went cus it sounded fun but I knew I wouldn’t be safe. I told her to be safe and even texted her after to make sure she was ok. I never saw her again and lost contact. I hope she’s ok. I didn’t realize until now that she may not have returned against her will… that thought scares me deeply.

I didn't get it. And another lie, - that guys do like to have sex with women of their age. That's not true. I believe it is too much to want 13-15yo girls/boys. It should be always 18+. But this is normal to want to have sex with a good skin/smell/color person. I would say this is not normal to have sex with your 50yo wife. Nature did it that way, - so everyone would want the most fertile younger person. That's how it works.

May i ask u, (if u don't want to say it's okay, I'm just trying to learn and educate myself I'm an OB-GYN i thknk it's something we should all know), how u came to be trafficked?

Trafficking is horrible in Houston! EVERYONE needs to be careful. They will try to take ANYONE. When I was 37 yo, I traveled to Houston for work and someone attempted to take me from 5 star hotel. I am Dr. ___. I was dressed professionally-- nothing short or tight. I did look much younger. At the time, I didn't realize that they are simply looking for people to sell.
This was about 9 yr ago and I had never heard of trafficking. I only got help bc I casually mentioned several things that happened during my 1st 2 nights and THANK GOD for the vigilant house keeper!! Ex the front desk calling bc my "husband was at the front desk wanting a key to my room." They knew my name. I was single and lived on the East Coast. Police got involved. They showed me the cameras and that man was a white male pilot of a foreign airline. They had some device that they were using to try and get in my room. The electronic door was making sound of opening, but I had some extra things in place to prevent it from opening.
The security staff moved me to a secure floor and I could not leave my room without an escort. I had NO IDEA how much danger I was in and really should have returned home immediately. They had incidents of a group of men kidnapping women from the hotel in a van in parking garage. At the time, my mind could not grasp it. I thought that they were exaggerating. Now I know better. In hindsight, I know that it was the older AA female bartender who compromised me. I didn't drink, but ate at the bar. She made small talk w/ me such as where I am from, etc. She was fishing for info and I was naive. It's also how they knew my name and room #, bc I charged my meal to my room. I did not talk to anyone else at the hotel, except for when I checked in. (Btw, I am sharing the races bc I think it's important to know that different races do this stuff and sometimes work together). I THANK GOD for blocking every attempt to harm me!!

Well, when that time finally arrived that evening & it was now time for them to play 'house'...because he was the new guy, Big Boy was kind enough to give him the option of whether he wanted to play the part of Mommy of the house, or the Daddy of the house. Thinking he had already figured out the game & how it was going to end up playing out & also because he didn't want to be the one getting ass-aulted...he figured he would outsmart him at his own game & choose the role of Daddy. And that's when Big Boy just smiled, dropped his pants & said "Well ain't that nice. Now, how about you get yo' ass on over here & start sucking on Mommy's dick!" 😳😖💦😩

I think it was the third time I saw him he asked m if I wanted a job. I didn’t know what he meant by a job and I didn’t accept. He did this for a couple of more evenings. t was 45 children between 6 months and 14 years of age by parents, grandparents and other relatives. Grandfather and Son preyed on the kids of the son and his ex wife aided and abetted the abuse. The story gets unimaginably worse but you will have to search for it. I won't/can't repeat it here.
I hate people so much. I can't tell you my honest feelings here because my comment will get taken down but search Angers, France. It's one of the worst cases I've heard about in modern history.
Let me say it like this. Some animals, like a rabid dog, are too dangerous to allow free movement. Their actions so aggregious that locking them up for life is far from just. For the safety of the community we put those animals down.
Some humans are broken beyond repair. Now I know you conservatives have things to say about what Thou Shalt not do, and loving thy neighbor and the spirit of forgiveness. I also know that many of you liberals think everyone deserves a chance at redemption. The ability to grow and be better people despite the fact that out system is not designed for rehabilitation.
But this ain't about your politics or what they deserve as threats to society. It's about ensuring the safety of the community and giving these families the peace of mind that these abusers will never hurt someone ever again. Not on the streets, not in the prisons. @@shay77777 wrong. The liberal Democrats have opened the border. Children are being trafficked by the hundreds of thousands by the Mexican cartels because it is so profitable. Our White House Resident denies there is a border crisis. Our Vice Resident ''Border Czar'' has NEVER visited the southern border. The head of Homeland Security, Mayorkas, has implemented policies that make it easier for unaccompanied minors to be trafficked into the US, and just yesterday, he sacked the head of Customs and Border Patrol because he is actually trying to secure the border. You must watch all mainstream news, not to know any of this. Mainstream news is a political propaganda organ that promotes the politicians implementing these policies because they are fellow Democrats. One hand washes the other. If you want to prove me wrong, you can go ahead and try. You can't, so it's better to inform yourself so you can vote out these politicians who are destroying these girls' lives. If you keep voting for them, you are just as much a sociopath as the pimp in this video.
In addition, in most major American cities, liberal prosecutors and judges have been voted in who believe in letting criminals of all types free, on no or minimal bail, and if they are sentenced it results in just another probation. Look this up too--all liberals /regressives, every last one. Chicago, New York, LA, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Seattle, Portland, Denver....Just look these girls in the eyes, and say out loud:

Reminder Adopted kids can be sold by their adopted parents through a process called “rehoming” with no background check or training necessary for the person buying the child. Adoption results in trafficking. Thousands of foster kids and adopted go missing with no trace in each state every year that means law enforcement and government officials often have to be on the side of the traffickers. Just this year in VA there was an entire police force uncovered as apart of a trafficking ring. And when these girls kill their traffickers they are put in jail and made a slave of the state just as Pieper Lewis did in the state of Ohio. Other ways girls get trafficked is they get abused at home and go online looking for a friend or mentors and end up getting groomed.

    • @justiceforkristen2729

Yes, we get a lot of Foster children and CPS children. It seems they are a part of it. And if nobody cares to report them to the national missing data bases how are we supposed to know, Until we talk to them and realize the situation. Trafficking runs deep. CPS here in Houston also needs to be looked into. They actually just shut down the CPS facility who is trafficking children from there. This is where we were supposed to take to trafficked children and find out they were just re-selling them blew our minds.

He described it as looking on the outside like an innocent institution where guys were playing pool and drinking beer, but then he saw a bunch of young girls and saw that they were going towards the back of the place. I live about 10 miles from bissonet st and its crazy how much this happends. In high school i remember seeing signs for help lines. So many people I knew ranaway from home. Life is hard here in Houston. I want to move out of houston before i start my own family so I can make sure this doesnt happen to my children. Be safe out their and get help and help others.

Im at a loss for words after seeing the interview with that 'pimp'. I could see him in public and never even think twice, i would never suspect that guy to be doing something so horrific. And on top of that, he didnt even seem to think he was one of them himself! Was he brainwashed by someone else into believing what he was doing was ok? Or was he just really good at pretending? Just astonishing...my daughter is 17 and i just cant even imagine....my heart and prayers go out to all those girls and their families💔

This is a side of all areas in Texas, even wealthy kids get trafficked. I went to a meeting by a special agent who works with rescuing trafficked kids. She said there are online preditors, and plants in the SCHOOLS, who groom very young kids for this trafficking. Texans want to pretend it's not happening. I was there for only 2 years but my husband had lived there longer. We both saw horrible things in Texas. Houston is sesspool and Dallas Fortworth is terrible too. The sickness has reached suburbia and even wealthier areas. There are girls and boys much younger who are also trafficked. After seeing the serious issues with kids in my extended family, I would not recommend raising children there. These pimps prey on on the poor, the rich, the broken hearted, or a child wanting attention. The pimps will also prey on your child if given an opportunity! Children need to be protected and loved. Children in your community may not have stable support at home and need mentoring. ( The cell phones given to kids are dangerous. I've tried to tell people this, but they just don't listen. )

Texas is definitely one of the worst states. I'm a victim. I'm from (North Texas/Denton Co.) Ponder, Texas. I was being shuffled back and forth to a hotel in Denton and to a residence in Ponder... Also Greyhound's are a BIG hang out for the perps looking for victims, I've seen it Over and Over, since I have been trying to escape these perps since Oct. 2019. I've been repeatedly raped and forced surrogacy over many years... I guess that is why they are still trying to keep up with me over long distances that I have fleed to, only to be followed. I'm still trying to find a safe place and I want to be able to fight back by helping other women find safety also, if I can just find safety myself.

It is futile to speak facts to persons who enjoy a sense of moral superiority in their own ignorance. Sorry but true. Few people will actually listen to anyone trying to help them. They are too smart to be told anything because they have knowledge at their fingertips. Not wisdom mind you, but knowledge.

This is real. I know two teens who's boyfriends turned them out when they were 15. The mom's worked together to rescue the girls. The problem was the girls lived at home, they would be emotionally manipulated, abused and then threatened, controlled. The moms worked hard to break through that wall of control and shame, it worked because there was enough love for years.

@@vickyblanco4284 yes, and the sale of these girls would often occur across the street from the high school at the park or down the street at the bus stop, in mid-sized cities. So if you didn't know what you were looking at you would simply see a girl hanging out then walking off with her "boyfriend" or getting into his car. As your driving around start paying attention. Watch for tale-tale signs. There are training courses as well.
