I'm so happy of my purchase with the s20 fe, it's such a great phone, had it for about 6 months now and it still works just like it came out of the box
I got the S20 Fe also and my phone still works like it's brand new and I like the fact that it holds up with the new S21 line.
What can you expect for that amount of money bro. You should be happy with at least 3 or 4 years of top performance

Well as an A72 owner I can say that you can't notice a couple of seconds slower processing. But you can definitely notice half a day more battery life.

At the $350 that I got my US variant S20 FE, I'd have to say it's the best value overall (at the $350 price). At msrp, I'd have to go with the A52 5G's stellar performance and value.

My wife has gone from an iPhone 7 to a Samsung A52 5g and other than the teething problems with the operating system change she absolutely loves it. One thing that let her iPhone experience down was the expired software updates for IOS. One update made the camera look shocking, lower Res, lagging frame rates and the battery life reduced significantly, along with software crashes. The benefit other than the fact the A52 has bang for your buck, is that the software updates are supported for the next three years at the very least. Peace of mind!
I have just purchased the S20 FE 5G coming from the Huawei P20 pro (I have had for 4 years now) my old phone had only just started losing performance last month, after they phased out the firmware updates.
I abolutely love my new Samsung. If you are budget conscious go for the A52 5G or the S20 FE 5G. If you have cash burning a hole in your pocket and money isn't an issue, that would really depend on your needs from your phone. They are all good.
If you are only interested in performance, between the a52 5G and the a72, you should get the a52 5G, however there are some advantages to the a72 as well, for eg. the bigger screen, bigger battery and better camera setup.
You also get a super fast charger with the a72

Guys remember this is only a SPEED TEST comparison, there's MUCH more to consider.
1) Fingerprint sensor is much faster in the S series devices, with the S21 being a decent bit beter than the S20FE and the A series just fall way behind
2) S series have MUUUCH better cameras than the A series.
3) HDR10+ displays on the S series, with only the S21 supporting HDR netflix
4) S series have higher gain WiFi modules, with the S21 supporting WiFi6
5) A seires are USB 2.0 complaint whereas S series are 3.2
6) Wireless charging if you're into that
7) IP67 vs IP68 resistance (not really a big deal lol)
8) Speaker quality is worlds better on S series.

And what about a year or two from now? Will the difference between A52 and S21 get more noticeable? I have my S7 for almost 4 years now and it is still pretty fast.
I ordered the FE on prime day day for $450 after the 6% back with Amazon prime visa. For the S series features, I think it's a good value compromise. Great cameras and features, good battery, little bit better performance, IP rating but you keep the SD card slot which can come in handy when using features like Samsung Dex which let's you turn your S series into a wireless Chromebook and you can handle some pretty nifty tasks like editing photos on Lightroom from your DSLR mobiliy and then sending them to clients or publishing from mobile data.
Kinda late to the party but that's a nice comparison between the different phones. Taking in consideration the fact that there will be a touch delay since you're not always gonna have all your 4 fingers touch at the same time, the results are still very visible, especially in the A72. I think the a52 is the perfect balance for being a budget phone. Also, I personally own an s20 fe and it goes toe-to-toe in loading times and performance compared to my friend's s21. The 865 is a beast but I also think the 750g and the 765g in the pixel is good enough for regular use, albeit it's not gonna always be buttery smooth.

Wade can u do a comparison between Galaxy A51 5G vs. Galaxy A52 5G because it looks like a big upgrade and just because I have one and battery is not good, the exynos processor is bad I think it has the 980 and it freezes after one ui 3.0 update because w one ui 2.5 it never did it and just to see if it's a solid upgrade?
Glad you gave it to the a52 5g. I recently purchased the a51 5g like a week before the 52 5g dropped. Ended up buying the a52 5g and selling the 51 5g. Best decision ever!
I would take a phone without 5G if the A72 5G version comes out, theA52 5G would loose. Like many doctors said 5G isn't healthy as we thought so a phone without 5G is better. Not technically...

Went with the S21+ with my carrier (O2 UK) and it was £48 a month. What I want from my phone, the S20 FE matched what the S21+ does. So, I sent the S21+ back to O2 and got the S20 FE (The 5G Snapdragon variant. Which is better, because we usually get Exynos here) which is £14 a month cheaper. Also, I got a special offer with 6 months free airtime, £243 rebate for recycling my S10+, and £300 enhanced recycle from Samsung for going with the FE. Yeah, you read it right; I got £543 for recycling my S10+!

@@thinkamajig for me it made the most sense for a few reasons. This is for the Snapdragon version btw.
1) long term support. S20 fe is promised android 14 and security patches for another 3 years now.
2) it has the microSD support for when I go on trips to store all my videos and photos.
3) the screen is absolutely amazing, nothing against the p30 pro but the deep blacks and rich colours on Samsung just can't be matched.
4) this is the biggest one for me: I can't get gcam on Huawei phones and I just really like the look and feel of Google pictures so it was a no brainer for me! Hopefully that helps. Cheers!

I think the FE is great and affordable. It's a lot of phone for not a lot of money.Price is relative I understand and I'm looking at it from a point of view that I'm lucky and my company gives us flagship phone but if I had to pay the FE.

Micro second performance difference is nothing in real life usage. A72 is best value for money overall, it has no weakness in practical usage
@P4P Tv I have poco f3 my bro has oneplus 8 and one of my friend has A72. On papers may be poco f3 and oneplus 8 are better but in camera department A72 is far better and overall samsung UI is much smoother and perfectly optimismed. Surprisingly in gaming both poco and one plus heat up but A72 doesn't. List goes on and on, that is why in my opinion A72 is best value for money
@P4P Tv That is why I said best value for money and not rhe best phone out of these four. A52 5G doesn't have telephoto lens, it is bit smaller as well moreover comes with 15W charger in the box instead of 25W. 5G support is only an advantage where 5G is available everywhere but it is very unlikely that 5G network will mature within next three years atleast. If we talk about S20 FE and S21, well of course these devices are better but they are much more expensive at the same time so I wouldn't exactly call them great value for money. If you buy S21 or S20FE you get exactly what you pay for but if you buy A72 you get much more than what you pay for...

For me the biggest deal breaker is earphone jack for the newest models of phones. Idk if Samsung will hear to people's complaints about the lack of option for earphone jack and maybe bring it back. For now I'll hold onto my s8+ to see what comes after these 2021 and 2020 models since they're all honestly really close

Dude I love your videos thank you for making this, you read my mind, you are the best at making the best and clear cut and great videos of any new great phone that comes out, especially the A series stuff very very clear stuff, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I am hoping they make the A72 5G, it would be the best phone ever. I used to have the A70 one of the best and slim phones I have ever used, right now I am rocking the S20 FE 5G in red, great phone. This comparison is best because in type and form factor they are very clos to each other. One of the things I love is that all of these phones have high refresh screens which is just amazing. Now I can have a gaming monitor and a mobile phone screen both with high refresh screens yes.

@@sheanreal Yeah, He probably will. But the a52 and a72 are equivalent to the s10. My s9 and a51 were basically the same but the s9 looked like a tiny bit better is some areas. Other than that it was a tie.
S series is better than a at camera.
Something to note with the A71 5G if you have Verizon as a cell provider: The only cases that fit the damn thing are sold by Verizon for a lot more than the case is worth. For some odd reason, Verizon changed the positioning of one of the buttons on their model of the phone, causing most cases to not fir properly. If you're gonna buy an A71, make sure it's not the A71 5G UW version, otherwise you're gonna get screwed.

3 to 4 years from now the battery quality will surely degrade and decline, but you can just replace the battery with new one.

I think its a great value for money. I would certainly recommend this phone.

S20 FE 5G for sure. I am having Indian variant that's with 8gb ram & it's fantastic! & it's best phone in the market till date.
The Indian variant is the exynos version which is an inferior chipset compared to the qualcomm 865 chipset.

I have the same Hong Kong version with snapdragon and 8gb ram. My previous model was also the same but was stolen by an Ethiopian wearing a Christian cross on his neck.
In a way I didn't care after because the phone had some WiFi issues which could not be resolved with a software update or factory reset. I suspect it had a faulty chipset. The second one which is the exact same model I purchased from Hong Kong does not have any issues related to the WiFi or chipset

Not only the refresh rate but also the shutter speed of the camera filming.
Lowest chipset was loading comparatively with the higher end because this is storage dependent. The moment you started scrolling you could see the lags - this is a CPU task

I might go with A52. It's more recent than A72, but I also don't need the teeny tiny performance boost on SD865 (loading time) because I only game lightweight titles that's looking more like utility app than games (no 3D animation, etc). The $100 saving can be allocated to better my PC instead.

For a s21 ultra user I think all of them are great expect the most battery life for the S20 fe and a72 I'm siding more with the S20 fe tho as it is the snapdragon 865 it's a flagship chip from last year so expect better battery performance than the midranger a72 all in all just use your battery carefully
Surprisingly, the s20 FE is around $150-200 more expensive than the regular s20 where I’m at so I just went with the regular pink s20 for $380 on eBay.

I think this video just goes on to show how far mobile processor industry has come in terms of performance. Whatever phone you get, you get at least a decent performance out of them compared to what you would get lets say 4+ years ago.

If there was an a72 5g with a higher chipset than sd750g I'd buy it immediately.. but I'm not buying mid range samsung phones when they are so much worse performance than xiaomi/poco
Clearly I won't make a mistake if I buy Galaxy A52 5G !!!! Currently I use Poco F3 , it's wonderful smartphone , but it's too big for my needs ( internet , gaming , jobs ) !!!!

Halfway through watching the video, I remembered that I don't live in the USA, so I couldn't feasibly get any of these phones.
You can get these phones better than you could in the USA if you live in europe
@@blazesmooth5573 A52 5G isn't sold here in Turkey, neither is A72 5G. I get the Snapdragon 720G versions, not the 750G. Samsung Galaxy S series don't even offer snapdragon anywhere in Europe, it's Exynos only. Next time Google it before you comment..?

@@ybediz U live in fuckin Turkey, 5% of it lies in eu borders. You can't speak for the whole of Europe when u don't live in it. I live in belgium, everythings here. And cheaper than they are in america too. Not to mention they don't offer exynos chips anymore
A72 has the best camera bigger screen 5000 mah battery and 8GB ram I think it is the best phone in that range could big screen and big battery makes a big difference.

As far as I know, all four of these phones now have additional 4GB of virtual RAM
im sort of in a pickle here. i live in turkey and the a52 model released here is the 4g version with 720g and the s models are released with exynos chips. so what should i get out of these 4 models?? :/
I've noticed some significant price reductions on the S20 FE. On a plan, the difference between the FE and the A52 is $1 a month (in Australia). I suspect an S21 FE may be on the horizon sooner rather than later.
