It ain't going to happen, Steve told him not to crack the stone, and that band has been nothing but drama since Steve left he made the right choice to leave , to me to achieve true happiness within one's life and oneself is much more than having fame, Steve was Journey, and man on man did he take them on a journey, he made the right choice, and the band made the right choice for choosing Arnel, yeah I believe Steve's much more happier and he doesn't need to go back to all that, he proved himself the first time he stepped out on the stage and sung his first Journey tune, that man is a vocal god and will go down in history as the best and greatest vocalist in that era of Rock,, no one can ever come close to his caliber, ever Thanks for the share, and the AI Stevie looks phenomenal 😊
I think Steve missed the perfect opportunity to perform with the band again at the Hall Of Fame induction in 2017. The band was only to perform 3 or 4 songs. Ansley Dunbar was up onstage and played drums for Lights as well as Greg Rolie on keys. The band obviously gets the notice well ahead of time so everyone can get together and do rehearsals. There’s no real reason why Perry couldn’t have done it. He wasn’t locked into any actual gig or touring situation. It was just one night 3-4 hit songs max and he could have made the statement ahead of time during his speech to everyone. Cause I think they all spoke first before they performed. That tonight this might very well be my last time ever performing onstage with these guys. That I decide to do this not necessarily for myself to prove anything. To do it for my fans and all the journey fans for supported them for so many years and for the ones who never got to see the originals together live on stage. That main lineup at that time 17- 18 was the escape/ frontiers band with Valory and Smith.
