TA Outdoors you should always get him on your channel and your dad, they made me laugh and you give ideas for scout maybe I will be leveled up with these creation thx
TA Outdoors I think you should do some short snappy info filled videos and also the longer 50min chilled type videos...also love your dad he is hilarious!
Maybe your legacy is not only the cabin build but the "seeds" you are planting with your audience. Your words of wisdom are so far reaching maybe further than you may realize. Outdoors does offer a place for solace and appreciation for what is available to anyone that goes out and looks for the experience. Keep filming and sharing your thoughts. Love it!
Just wanted to say you've reignited my bushcraft passion and got out in the woods with my sons, trying to learn and have fun. Cheers mate, really love your vids!
I loved the video. I enjoyed seeing Jaxx join you. I had a CO-JACK that I lost about 10 years ago, to a bad batch of dog food..Those Terriers are excellent pets and are very protective. I wish I had another one but I have 2 pit bull lab mixes and love them dearly. As far as video length I don't think it matters as along as they keep the viewer interested. I don't think you have a problem with that at all. If your videos where 10 hours long I would still watch them. Thanks for your devotion.
I've seen some funky shelters people have built when visiting other woodlands and you're so right about how stunning the woods look at this time of year, sweet video as always Mike ~Peace~
I completely agree with you over the aggressive ownership of dogs , I’m in love with jaxx 😍😍 I have 3 Yorkshire terriers and yes they are very territorial and protective but such beautiful dogs 😍
Jaxx reminds me alot of my fox terrior, unfortunately she passed but oh you're so right about the terrior family they like to be stubborn but they are great hunters and good for flushing out rabbit holes but as always keep up the good work mike
I really enjoy your video but most of all I really enjoy the fact that you treat your dog as you would another human when you drink you make sure your dog drinks and then you give him treats every so often to keep him to not so far away to keep them coming back I really admire a person who takes care of their animal like you do and I look forward to more of your videos they're very informative thank you for being an animal lover God bless you
Renamed a Parsons terrier this summer, most affectionate dog ever and sooooo warm in sleeping bag. She was up on the sofa watching jaxx. Like the longer videos :-)
Jaxx looks like one of my Chiweinies........... Dachshund/Chihuahua mix.......... one is cream colored and one is chocolate..... Hershey loves the sticks also. For water for them, I have a folding bowl and that works well for me. That way, they get used to having their own bowl and they are not trying to drink out of my cooking pot. I also agree with your policy of leaving no trace behind. I am a ghost most of the time - you will never know where I am or have been.......... well done overall..........
If if an overnighter or 2day 35 to 50min is ok. I only watch when I've time. Try to be out doing as much as possible. Awesome and excellent work you do.
If you are in the wilderness cold can get you quickly but hunger will get you slowly! It is really hard if you want to survive for long. Cavemen went in small bands which improved their chances of getting large game.
Love the episode, and bloody top notch editing! Whatever length you put out I'll watch, but the 40-60 minute videos are always a treat for me. Thanks for putting this up!
Yeah mine lived up to 18 years of age and then she got hit by a car but she was a great great companion we went all over the United States together I sure do miss her now I have a big German Shepherd who is got a personality of nobody I've ever met in my life what a great dog
I enjoyed this, Jaxx was a great bonus, he sure kept you on your toes :) Any length of video is okay by me so long as they're informative and entertaining, keep up the good work.
Enjoy your videos, going backpacking next weekend, hope to get the javacubes before I head out into the back country next weekend. I am always looking for the ultimate cup of coffee for backpacking trips. FYI, Jaxx is cool little dude!!!
Truly enjoy your videos and the need to relax. No matter when I have a bad day, your videos always make me feel better. Keep up the great work and productions. Also, love your Dads channel also and your good friend Dustin's Bushcraft tools. All the best from Manitoba, Canada
Hi TA great video again, I normally maintain my folding fire box with WD40 on the hinges and with a cloth rub it over the rest. I personally like long and short videos it's nice to relax to a long one or on lunch break watch a shorter one so keep up the good work. All the best.
I don't know if you believe in Sasquatch's, but those were shelters made by them. I'm the beginning of your video, it showed one tree swaying back and forth, while others were not, cuz of no wind. Then the video continued on. I've been watching videos on them, and I recognize those structures or shelters. I enjoyed your video. I do tend to look in the background, to see if anything emerges. I wonder if, you've ever encountered one, or heard them in any of your videos.
My Jack Russell is 17 and I really wish I could travel and camp with her but she's just too darn old and also (blind), but I also have a chihuahua and she's been camping with me for a bit and she LOVES it!! My only worry about camping with her is that people will be judgemental jerks. But I don't really care =D Your Dog reminds me of my Doggy and I wish she'd had the pleasure.
Wicked video mike the shelters you found reminds me of a time on my childhood farm, me and my cousins used to go out and put up huts in the pastures.... which now makes me wanna go back and see if they are still there that could make for an interesting day hike and a coffee. I picked up some new gear I need to try out so I just planned my next weekend just by watching this. Catch ya on the next one mike cheers
Had a Jack many years ago :) They are defensive, like bark to alert the owner of a unknown(to them) person, but ours have never been aggressive. Fantastic dogs. Wish you the best for Jaxx! He's gonna become a great dog :)
I love coffee in the woods. I will need to try that Jiva coffee. I just bought some KUJU coffee. It is a one cup portable drip coffee with actual coffee grinds.
Another great vid catching up with them all as only found u because of Dustin's . Baseman Jaxx is a lovely lil chap( yes I know about them as my nickname at work was Baseman Jacks lol ) ,my Springer likes watching u both too . 😂
I'm so going to take my JRT on an overnighter one day! So far I've only tried it with my other dog - a labrador with considerably more fur :-) It's much fun to take your dog out, but as you said, you spend half the time looking out for it...
I grew up in New England, lots of colored leaves in the Fall. I was told it's the frost that makes the color change, not "global warming", Haven't seen much color here in TX.
Totally awesome video man! I watched this on the TV in our den and when you blew the whistle for Jaxx my German Pudél Pointer came running into the room at full trot to investigate the noise. He was very perplexed when he realized it was the TV and saw you and Jaxx. He was even looking behind the TV for you guys! 😂
Another great video Mike! Love the new pack, in the market for one myself, along with other items... Would you please do a review or just a pack video of the one your carrying?
Not being funny but i could, and have watched these videos for hours they really are that interesting to me.Obviously you have to limit them to a certain amount of time so if i had to come up with a realistic figure i would say at least 1 hour. But as far as i am concerned personally, the longer the better.
First, thank you for your videos. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching them. I especially enjoy the more primitive, bushcrafty videos with limited tools. Second, there are serious health concerns regarding spalted woods, particularly in working the raw wood. Just a heads-up, not leveling any accusations about anything or anyone. Thanks again for the videos.
Took Jaxx along with me on this Trip - What's the ideal length of episode that you guys would like to see on the Channel?
TA Outdoors around 20 - 50min is awesome
TA Outdoors I like the long vids 30 to 60 minutes
TA Outdoors love the channel and I do wish that you could do more shelters so this is great
TA Outdoors you should always get him on your channel and your dad, they made me laugh and you give ideas for scout maybe I will be leveled up with these creation thx

I enjoy when Jaxx is with you. Also Dustin and Amber.
Just wanted to say you've reignited my bushcraft passion and got out in the woods with my sons, trying to learn and have fun. Cheers mate, really love your vids!
Thank you, glad to have inspired you to get out there again
I loved the video. I enjoyed seeing Jaxx join you. I had a CO-JACK that I lost about 10 years ago, to a bad batch of dog food..Those Terriers are excellent pets and are very protective. Another brilliant video, you are very lucky to have Jaxx as one hell of a very intelligent
companion.
I like the instructional way you made this video. I generally watch shows like this to learn.
The coffee looks convenient too, no measuring
I've seen some funky shelters people have built when visiting other woodlands and you're so right about how stunning the woods look at this time of year, sweet video as always Mike ~Peace~
Cheers Zed
That was enjoyable! I'm glad Jaxx is trained to come to you. It's great you can take him out with you.
Jax is the best. I never considered a smaller dog than a pitbull. Im Merican but he is a true dog. I love his energy
I just love Jaxx😊 too darn cute. Always want to see more of him lol
I completely agree with you over the aggressive ownership of dogs , I’m in love with jaxx 😍😍 I have 3 Yorkshire terriers and yes they are very territorial and protective but such beautiful dogs 😍

I've been using the same stove for the last 5 years and its an awesome piece of kit cant recommend it highly enough especially when out with groups.
100% agree about your opinion on dogs
"The way you rare your pup
Is the way you have your dog"
They may be a pain at times, but a good dog is worth his weight in gold.
So worth it
What cute little pupper!!!
Aaa that was such a lovely dog! I have also had an jackrussel Idk actueally 2 of them! Best dogs ever!😍
Enjoyed watching jaxx. Bring him again
I really enjoy your video but most of all I really enjoy the fact that you treat your dog as you would another human when you drink you make sure your dog drinks and then you give him treats every so often to keep him to not so far away to keep them coming back I really admire a person who takes care of their animal like you do and I look forward to more of your videos they're very informative thank you for being an animal lover God bless you
Love the wooden cup. 👍👍👍
Made by a guy called Will Canavan - You can find him on facebook under "White head custom crafts" an excellent woodcrafter
Renamed a Parsons terrier this summer, most affectionate dog ever and sooooo warm in sleeping bag. She was up on the sofa watching jaxx. Like the longer videos :-)
T A your Dex is super adorable and he looks like a Jack Russell
Somebody is flipping right now because TA Outdoors was a guest of their shelter! Magnificent 😎😂

Love the episode, and bloody top notch editing!

I like you choice of music you use for your videos
Yeah mine lived up to 18 years of age and then she got hit by a car but she was a great great companion we went all over the United States together I sure do miss her now I have a big German Shepherd who is got a personality of nobody I've ever met in my life what a great dog

Clearly your whistle works for Cairn Terriers too as our Amos had to come over to the computer and check it out!
haha awesome!!
LOL. Jaxx was trying to dig a hole to New Zealand! He's so cute stealing your firewood.
I love the Jiva cubes coffee. Very good for instant coffee..
Truly enjoy your videos and the need to relax. No matter when I have a bad day, your videos always make me feel better. Keep up the great work and productions. Also, love your Dads channel also and your good friend Dustin's Bushcraft tools. All the best from Manitoba, Canada

It was based on your recommendation on Jiva coffee cubes I just purchased some on Amazon. I look forward to trying them out.

Good tips on your fire starting techniques!! Cheers

It's much fun to take your dog out, but as you said, you spend half the time looking out for it...
Your dog is too cute! My dog is mixed with a Jack Russell...he's mischievous too. His name is Cash.
