Don't worry, they stop automatically or move out of your way. They also have flashing lights on a flag and also they're not silent, so will hear one if it's coming towards you.

@@danielledewitt1 I'm sorry, I thought that if you have a severe sight impairment, you would either have a stick or a dog to help you navigate when you are out and about. Apparently, when you hear it and stop, it will go around you. It will be safer than some non-moveable hazards.

@@barbarahanratty4174 I don’t have a stick, I have a long cane and for your information I’m on the waiting list for my first guide dog. I’m also hearing impaired but have a bone anchored hearing aid.

@@danielledewitt1 That is good news for you, hope you don't have to wait too long for your dog. Your dog will have to be trained not to bark at these robots as I'm sure it will. I saw one for the first time yesterday and I wasn't impressed. I'm afraid it's all part of our changing world.
