May I ask, why add the negative space color after the sketching & not before? I've seen it both ways but no one talks about this method & why. Thanks!
Interesting question! There really isn't a reason I do it one way or the other. I think it's just habit. I usually start my negative space layer while my first layer of flowers and leaves are drying.
