Pretty much any time you're thinking "is that THE _" in one of these playoff-caliber games... it is them. It's not a coincidence that many of the best NFL players come from very good college teams and most (though not all) did very well in college.
That Ezekiel Elliott run against bama is known as "85 yards through the heart of the south", and for good reason, they went on to win the first national championship in the CFP era that year

Great progress! From when you started and still referred to an interception as a fumble to knowing what you need to know to follow and enjoy the games. I wish I had the commensurate level of knowledge with UK football. It still looks to me like basketball instead with feet on a large field, and less jumping (or Hockey with feet and no skating).

Just FYI, Jalen was not injured in the 2018 championship game. Alabama coach Nick Saban just decided to put in Tagovailoa in the second half with Bama trailing UGA 13-0 as a strategic call. It was a highly unusual strategy especially in a game of that magnitude. But it ended up paying off for Bama as they would go on to turn it around and win the game 26-23 in overtime,
As a UGA fan, that one still hurts. But luckily UGA would get their revenge against Bama in the championship a few years later in the 2022 national championship. This video only goes to 2019 though.

Yes, the first 3 games are from the same year. The first is the Rose Bowl, Oregon vs. Florida State. The second is the Sugar Bowl, Ohio State vs. Alabama. The third is the national championship, Oregon vs. Ohio State. Ohio State won 42-20.

At one time, the University of Georgia had Todd Hurley, Nick Chubb, and Sony Michel all at the same time. At one time, Michel was probably higher rated as pro prospect than Nick Chubb.
