This is the 1st time watching Pro Wrestling from Australia back in the 1970's with the Late "Mr. Football" Teddy Whitten!!!! Earlier I saw a TH-cam Clip of Bulldog Brower attacked then WWF Champion Bob Backland with a wooden folding chair!!!!!
Teddy Whitten called the wrestling in the 70s , l don’t remember that . Every Sunday lunchtime we would all gather around the tv and watch the classic Aussie wrestling, bloody fantastic memories, loved it .
@michaelrose3101 It's just so bizarre!! My parents wouldn't let me watch it so l had to go to the Italian house next-door. I ended up submitting myself to a hammer-lock - "to see how it would feel". The older sister's wre blasting Suzi Quattro and Stevie Wright...
Great Post. Always great to see quality Australian wrestling. Thanks.
Psychology 101 folks! Bless you for these Australian gems!
Love it. Old school.

Mario Milano was considered to become WWWF Champion at one time but Mario was happy wrestling in Australia.
What. A lie

He did it for only a short time.
I seem to remember it being on Saturday mornings in Melbourne.
@@hanajinks1044Channel 9 Richmond early Sunday morning around 9 or 10 from memory, taped and broadcast at midday.

Were*
rare to see Brower softened up by well matched opponent 💪👊🏼
Mario Milano and the famous Adominal Stretch , this was his classic finishing hold that made many opponent’s tap out in agony.
Ron Miller was the Australian champion in that era
Wahaaaaa
Yes, Ted Whitten used to call the Wrestling in 70s on ch9. He used to call the AFL for 9 in the early 70s until they lost the rights.
This is great 👌👍
Brower Power man of the hour Bulldog Brower......
wrestling not my cup of tea but worth a look. Ted written l didn't know he compare the wrestling. he played football for many years.
Barely able to recognize Brower
Ted Whitten overdid the dramatic commentary a bit.
1970 ?
This is the last year 1978
Nice man mario but no match for the dog
Mario needed to be more dirty but he just couldn’t do that
Bully Brower was plenty dirty, I swear He got off on beating-up Milano and riding him in holds
They are sexy gentlemen.
I love them.
both 100 % male !
It's definitely more enjoyable watching them go at it without the sound...Brower was the randy feelin bully, and Milano, the big d*cked fan-favorite
Joking lol
Is this 1984?
My best guesstimate would be mid-70s and only because it's in color, otherwise I'd say even a few yrs earlier.
Finished in 1978. Also sure this is 1978.
Mario haaaaaa
Circa 1980
Finished in 1978...not far off.
@@michaelrose3101 oh, I was just guessing.😄
