Ted Whitten overdid the dramatic commentary a bit.

This can hardly be called “sport” - don’t get me wrong - I grew up on Jack Little and World Championship Wrestling and loved it, but it is best described as “performance theatre”. But I was shocked to hear Channel 7 commentators, calling the wrestling. Looks like it didn’t last long.

This is the 1st time watching Pro Wrestling from Australia back in the 1970's with the Late "Mr. Football" Teddy Whitten!!!! Earlier I saw a TH-cam Clip of Bulldog Brower attacked then WWF Champion Bob Backland with a wooden folding chair!!!!!

Teddy Whitten called the wrestling in the 70s , l don’t remember that . Every Sunday lunchtime we would all gather around the tv and watch the classic Aussie wrestling, bloody fantastic memories, loved it .
