I can't get over how much shock travel, that you are getting. I had well over $100,000 into my 1985 bronco XLT. It was a full pre-runner. I was only getting about 10 inches travel in the front and I think it was 22 in the back. And that was really good at the time. I'm getting old. That was 30 years ago. That truck was so much fun. I sure miss that thing.
That's crazy you spent so much. I just spent $15k on lift, ADS triple bypass shocks, hydralic bump stops, wheels & tires on the gladiator. It has about 11.5" shaft travel on the shocks. I want 40s but that's another 20k or so for axles and wheels. I plan on mobbing it with 37s for a while and see how it goes.

Chromoly, carbon fiber, billet, stainless, 1100hp, 100 gallon fuel cell and 40s sounds like I'll never afford one 😂

Usually in off-road racing if you have to ask the price, you cant afford it lol. A truck like this is around $800,000 to fully build.
I've been a desert racing fan and a shade tree fabricator for over 40 years. This was such eye candy. Well done video.

After watching the entire video and all the detail work on this thing...WOW😍. These guys need to build a stage rally car for sure! They could build an open class car that might actually survive a few rallies😉. Beautiful and clever work!
triangles are the strongest shape you can make, correct, but not when cutting a hole in sheet metal for lightening. in that case a dimpled round hole is strongest. if you understand why the triangle is the strongest shape you should understand why cutting a triangle shape hole in something doesn't transfer any of those properties.

On another note though @ 14:50 "specialty built bump pad" , rubs 1/2 steal 😉. Everything on the truck is one off and everything was custom made for it but jeez a specialty bump pad that thing is even more serious now 🤔😎

Id love my 2005 3.0L v6 AWD Mercury Mariner to be a Rally Racer esq...still want it to be versatile ie pull trailer of need be....if i could afford the mods
Id do an overhaul on my Engine, install a more sturdy/bulletproof Transmission, Shocks and Struts, tires, radiator, if feasible widen the axles
So who's going to be the first truck to jump onto the trailer in the burn yard and then double stacked jumps off the trailer?

Trophy Trucks is definitely one of the most badass racecars around! Not only for how they are run but fabrication wise too, and that is a part I really like with all racing.
Even though it say 'you can buy' no price is available either here or on their page... But concidering the level of engineering, fabrication and historical pricing these must break a million by now.
Brenthel has a video on their new shop & they said a PreRunner is $600,000 to $1,000,000. A race ready TT is $1,000,000+

Nice feature guys. Too bad they DNF'd last weekend. A lot of big dogs went DNF last weekend. It was a really rough race. Class 5 was virually wiped out. Could you get Dusty Grabowski with his Class 5 on? I'd like to see a feature on that.
Dnf is part of racing. We have come back and won n both TT and SPEC

Went to highschool with Johnathan Brenthel. He drove the "Terminator" lime green square body (mid-late 90's) 1500? with fiber glass flares. Always missing one of the front flares giving it the the name "Terminator"
I picked up a twisted blacksmith logo during a BITD aftermath cleanup a couple of years ago. Cool now I know

If I won the lotto, I would buy this just to be THAT GUY, so I could use it as my going to fetch the mail truck on a huge chunk of land. I could just imagine the look on my nephews faces if I picked them up from school in it.
I so soo wish they would run trophy trucks in places that aren't in the dessert. Like rally stages, or the pacific northwest, or abandoned industrial sites. These things are so effing capable but I never watch them because it's either going off jumps in a stadium or ripping through the dessert, which gives you no real sense of scale or capability. Whereas something like Recoil by bj baldwin does. In the best way : D
