You can find clips of him defending the Supreme Court bribes and Clarence Thomas i really don’t like him. He used to be a Democrat and learned the southern drawl and switched accents a true politician his midlife crisis was to be evil and fuck with democracy.
I think the most insane thing is he probably thought he was cooking with that, when literally anyone with a pair of ears thinks he sounded like a fucking idiot.
well, there is a substantial percentage of the population which find that great... fucking idiots indeed
Everything about the Kennedy questioning screams fishing for clips to campaign on/show on right wing media.
That is exactly it, he's counting on fox news just clipping his question and his own answer to his own question
Yeah, he's going to use the clip of him saying, "you can't even bring yourself to say you don't support Hamas!" in political ads without the context of her saying literally that.
bro said "no" like a thousand times! what the hell does he want her to say??!!
He wants her to shut up. It's that simple.
What he wants is to be able to call her "uppity" and the n-word without public backlash.
He wants his movie moment.
Oh that accent that he’s using is fake. Which you probably could’ve guessed.
Leave the poor woman alone! Just because you are Muslim does not mean you automatically support Hamas!
But do you condemn hamas? 🧐
That weirdo is re-asking the question over and over even when she gives him a clear answer as a power move to attempt to bully them into submission, if he can get them to only say yes or no he can easily control the narrative and prevent her from actually expressing her beliefs
Why are conservatives so gullible? Just make up whatever, claim youre an expert on the subject, and claim everyone agrees with you and to disagree gets them 'silenced'. Instant right-wing idol!
Ask Kennedy if he still supports public lynchings. Yes or no?
he just said he wanted her head in a bag, so why are we asking?
@@atropabelladonna Good point.
Just yell back "Do you condemn the IDF"
"You didn't answer the question"
I think he'll just say well yeehaw of course I don't support IVF. That kills babies. And yes I know you said IDF, but I dont think Foghorn Leghorn knows the difference
"When did you stop beating your wife?"
That'll dig you even more into the hole because the IDF is Israel's official military and our government supports the state of Israel's right to exist, and considers any action taken in its defense to be necessary. That means you're a traitor.
That doesn’t work unfortunately because they would just say yes we do, we unequivocally support the IDF and then there would be a roaring applause. You unfortunately can’t just flip the tactics back in them because the US openly supports the IDF
Kennedy: "What's really disappointing-"
Witness: "I do not support Hamas."
Kennedy: "Is that you cannot even-"
Witness: "I do not support Hamas."
Kennedt: "You cannot even bring yourself to say-"
Witness: "I do not support Hamas."
Kennedy: " - to say that you don't support Hamas!"
Witness: "I do not support Hamas."
Kennedy: "YOU SUPPORT HAMAS, DON'T YOU!?"
If you guys are interested in the position of the "normal" german in nazi germany i can recommend the book "they thought they were free"
Better title, perhaps: "they were free of thought"
No, in fact, I don't condemn hummus. It's my favorite food 😋
😮 You must be antisemitic
He also asked her to condemn UNRWA, the United Nations relief agency.
And he conflated Hamas with UNRWA with the line of questioning and framing. Foreign aid to innocent Palestinians who lost their houses due to Israeli bombing = Hamas. Dude is a bigoted moron
He would ask her to condemn the UN if he thought he could get away with it
As time goes on…. Still yes. But I wish someone would have the balls to say, “Yes, I condemn Hamas, but I condemn in even stricter terms the state of Israel’s rampant campaign of terror on the civilians of Gaza, the West Bank, and now Lebanon.”
I like the sentiment, but you'd need someone to be able to shut the fuck up for more than five seconds to get that one out, though.
@@msaoichanI agree. I also think that kinda quote would have to come from someone who’s willing to shout down people who are trying to shout over them.
Yeah, like... I condemn Hamas... I also hold a sovereign nation who receives American dollars to a higher standard than a terrorist organization? And subsequently condemn Israel as well?
That's a great answer
I'm sincerely angry that Kennedy wasn't interrupted by any demo or let alone is still allowed to serve after this, much less other things.
this is a south park bit brought to life
Remember Sen Kennedy is the “call a crackhead” guy in which I think a crackhead has supreme intellect compared to all Republican senators combined
Abrahamic theocracy is cringe, but the anticolonialism is based.
I agree with this sentiment.
Based.
I think the term "based" is cringe.
Man he's so bad faith
can't be a willful member of the hard-r party and not be at this point
I condemn warcrimes...
Man, about the JD Vance "whatever", totally agree. I'm from Romania and we're pretty racist against Roma people unfortunately. So when racists try to censor their racism they just pause mid sentence and slowly say "person of ethnic background" instead of just saying "gypsy" which is what they want to say and are in fact saying but in a slightly more (the irony) politically correct way. The way they say it slowly is as if to imply that they're persecuted and would be ostracized for saying the bad word so really they're the real victim here for just sAyInG iT LiKe iT iS.
I would’ve called him out completely on turning away, you have the guts to say such a brazen statement but not look the person in the eye in their response
Red scare nonsense all over again
She literally said it multiple times, and he just kept going.
We've arrived at a place where as long as you don't outright admit to something bad, some people will still defend you. Dr. Disrespect is a great example. People were uncritically prepared to defend him until he basically admitted to messaging a minor. Then he deleted his admission and muddied the water, so those people came right back to his defense.
If Israel supporters dont have to condemn the IDF, Palestine supporters shouldnt have to condemn Hamas, hezbollah or anyone.
Living with and around the "average conservative" I can confidently tell you they wouldn't cheer at a hard R but they sure as shit wouldn't be bothered by it
This is ridiculous. She's a saint for staying so calm in the face of that obvious bigotry and hatred he's spewing.
The clip of this guy reading out of that one book keeps me going
Just remember everyone. If he was working for a company, and gave this shitty of a performance on a task assigned to him, he would be fired without hesitation.
Lol not even close, he's the type of utterly useless/idiotic guy to get promoted because he can't be fired so they promote him to keep him away from the machines and competent workers.
Implying he's not working for corporate America right now.
"Do you condemn Hamas?"
"I condemn Monotheism"
I'd love to see his face 😂
Muslims are monotheistic. She should say she condemns trinitarianism. That would get an expression.
@@richardarriaga6271 yeah but so are Christians and Jews
She was wayyyyy too cordial. If she had called him out on being a clown she’d be much better off than just letting him steamroll her over and over.
The shallow brained require short answers. Toddlers have more of a capacity to engage in productive conversations even when they’re only saying “why” over and over.
Anecdotally; My entire family has been killed by Israel bombs as innocent as those killed on October 7th. Republicans: but do you condemn Hamas?
It is, I suppose, nice to have a blatant example of the disingenuousness at the heart of the question.
I doubt it will sway anyone predisposed to such "questions", as their motives are obviously not based in anything other than blind tribalism.
But ya know, at least it's something.
Bold of this dude to be so mouthy when the dust from his bones should be long gone by now.
She didn't raise her voice cause if he heard a sound over 70 decibels, he'd start to crack like a racist clay pot
This guy talks how I imagine a turkey would talk
Um, I believe Foghorn Leghorn is a rooster, sir.
@@Callie_FL don’t you dare besmirch the name of American Hero Foghorn J. Leghorn by comparing him to this Capitol Hill parasite?!
@@Callie_FL worst foghorn impression ever
the head in a bag comment is actually inhuman, like what the actual fuck
i went to the c-span upload of the video and it’s filled with nutcases saying “SHE COULDN’TH AHNSWEHR THEH DAHMN QUEHSTION” despite her saying no repeatedly
It'll be fine, my "I'm just a simple country lawyer"-schtick will disguise my deep, seething hatred for my fellow human beings
When we ask someone a question, we wait for them to finish speaking before we start talking again, this sort of thing is taught to first graders but apparently this senator flunked kindergarden
I wish she would just throw the same ridiculous questions his way.
Then when he gets frustrated just say "oh I thought we were playing the waste each other's time question game"
He looked so smug after telling her he doesn't have time
She should have asked him if he supports Russia
And if Russia supports him, y'know, monetarily. Like tim pooll and all the others.
Disingenuity is one of the larger crimes in my book. It comes down to theft of dignity, theft of respect, theft of truth and theft of the opportunity to come to something better together, and I forgot a few in my low key spitting rage. Bottom line is, it's as evil as evil gets.
He literally threatened her, what the fuck?
When the talking points didn’t go as planned but you have no choice but to stick to the script
I'm pretty sure he heard her say she didn't support Hamas. He's just so old that he forgot and needed to ask again
Guys i'm on 4 glasses of wine and this is making me so fucking mad help 😭😭
Bro said the words “I don’t support them” in the second half of her first sentence can he not listen?
”Never believe that [they] are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. [They] have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”
-Jean-Paul Sartre speaking of something true of all fascists (edited to try and keep TH-cam from suspiciously censoring it)
This guy shouldn't be allowed to ask questions at his HOA meetings, let alone the U.S. Senate.
Only thing this Kennedy is worth is giving RM Brown more quotes for his soundboard
My comments about Kennedy would violate TOS.
I wonder what would have happened if she said "Yes, I do support Hamas and Hisbollah".
The dude would probably be so baffeled that he would pass out.
He would yell the exact same thing because he wasn't listening
McCain couldn't go far enough left to get my vote, too much of the party platform was in conflict with what I would consider his personal decency, but he was decent enough I listened to him talk during his campaign, and his stand against revoking Obamacare with no alternative was a truly decent thing that he was one of the few with the courage to do. I can say the same thing about him that he said about Obama - He was a good and decent man that I have fundamental, and often extreme, differences in opinion on the good of the country for.
McCain was a neocon, but he wasn’t a fascist, and I appreciate that. And as bad as his foreign policy was, at least he wasn’t a chicken hawk like Trump and Cheney
@@hydrogen3266this is part of why I take issue with Vaush calling fascists "conservatives". They are separate ideologies and we shouldn't downplay the former by calling it the latter.
If “you should have your head in a bag” isn’t a censure at least if not contempt of congress, I don’t know what is
Hey Vaush, just wanna say I've been watching lots of your videos recently and have you on my notifications. I like you're content and hope you keep posting more! Good job man.
Louisiana politicians are so embarrassing.
Do you?! 🧐
I don’t know if this is true, but I’ve heard that specifically saying the words “yes” or “no” isolated as an answer is dangerous, as it can be easily be taken out of context in manipulating or editing recordings. Saying the full sentence is safer for clarification. Also, she’s trying to make a point that the question is offensive and counter-productive. It sounds like the guy is only capable of hearing the sound of his own voice tho
6:18 he’s absolutely right here. I have a conservative coworker that doesn’t think racism is a major political force anymore, but when I asked him what racism looks like he only brought up the act of saying slurs
Hahaha! When you said, "Alejandro" I immediatly thought of the Lady Gaga song.... 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
America is still a reality show.
He forgot the pointy white bag he wears on his head at home
She handled his BS better than anyone could be expected to.
Saying yes or no doesn’t matter. If you say no they will pretend you said yes or just repeat the same question with a different organization or country until time expires. Stop playing ball. Ask him about his sexual relations with each cousin and to rate them on a 1-10.
Was that Herbert from Family Guy asking her?
