There is some truth in that
But just think why would the temporary state "Israel" ever GIVE 1000 PALESTINIANS just for one soldier.
Do you really think they didn't knew that there were some dangerous in it.
And always rememeber in the early days of hamas it got a lot of money from israel to win the election against the PLO
In that time the plo was a bigger danger.
And just find me 5 videos from "Israeli" cameras documenting the 7 october attack
You will find none even though the have placed thousands among the GAZA BORDER.

Israel largely also created the monster Hamas has become by their complete refusal to cooperate and coordinate with the PLO. By Netanyahu's own admission in 2019, Israel had been for years intentionally propping Hamas up with arms and funding deals to destabilise the more moderate PLO with the intent of causing Palestinian resistance to break apart via infighting with radicals. The end result is that the radical Hamas stomped the Fatah and took power and cemented itself. Netanyahu's complete refusal to work with more level-headed minds in the Knesset and PA to instead work with wing nuts allowed October 7th to become reality.

Hypotheses abound that may have been their intent. To force Israel to have to go scorched earth because the UN would panic about a humanitarian crisis. Also the timing of it to distract the west from Ukraine just as the main seige of Avdiivka began. Wagner mercenaries are known to have been in contact with Hamas prior to the attack.

he has made public appearances since oct 7th in Gaza - obviously Israel is intentionally keeping him alive because he is valuable as part of their narrative. He serves multiple purposes both as a villainous face to put out as mastermind of untold violence, and also as someone Bibi can use in his "can't fire me till Hamas is gone" strategy by perpetually postponing dealing with him, like he has with the hostage returns. Eliminating Sinwar just sets Israel back 12 months of character development for a short term symbolic flex.

When they tried the 'surgical' approach of assassinations, and got condemned. Tried letting the leadership live, only to watch them go next door to start again. Withdrew from Gaza and got zero brownie points. There are clearly instances where they dropped the ball, but it seems like most of the solutions people are suggesting can be countered with 'we tried that and it didn't get any results' even if preliminary ones.

Worst yet these werent even Israeli troops, they were fellow Gazan people that served in theor military. This is why we know Hamas doesnt care for Gaza or its people but only for Israeli destruction. The fact they were widely supported by gazans is what gives me no sympathy for the people nor the territory. Its the same as when Germany had a certain militant leader starting issues first eradicating opposition internally then militant agression with its neighbors. Then the world reacted coeardly and capitulated until it learned the hard way that a fierce response is the only way it works. Now when history repeated this time the world once again acted cowardly, not Isreal it was ready to act fiercly and dp what it needed to eradicate a threat to its existance. Yet the world still hasnt acted fiercly, it ran and hid with its tail between its legs blaming Israel for all the woes instead of eradicating another threat to the wider world's stability. How many civilians were wounded or killed in WW2, how many homes destroyed, how many UXOs still remain to this day ready to harm a random bystandard? All because the world stood idlely by while Germany took more and abused treaties and the trust of the world. History is reapeating yet we turn a blind eye. If the islamic world wants to coexist i will welcome it with open arms, but Gaza and its Hamas leaders are not wanting coexistance they want capitulation and eradication. My rant is over, hate it if you want, but you wont change my mind now the minds of many around the world who think the same.

Hamas wanted things to go this way to show the world the terror of Israel and Netanyahu wanted things to go this way to give them justification to move on with force and attempt to wipe out Hamas. Same with Hezbollah. And this is all mainly because of Iran let’s not forget that. Russia just gave Iran nuke technology in exchange for arms. The main motivator here is Iran Vs The West and Israel is the western influence stronghold in the Middle East. This is about how we, as a human civilization cannot progress into the future with radical Islamic theocratic militant groups going around and causing oppression on the people and instability in those nations economies and societies. Iran is an oppressive Islamic government funding radical Islamic militant groups and they are about to get a nuke. We can debate all day on how terribly Israel handled Gaza but in the end, Iran must be stopped by any means necessary. They cannot have a nuke. I'm surprised every time when people ask that question after everything that's happened for the last year, and the 80 years before that.
You're seeing the final stages of a settler-colonial project. They get the condemnation because of what they've done and have made clear they intend to do.

I see people condemn both. Difference is Israel started the whole conflict by occupying land people already lived on and then have treated people very badly, apart from that they also build kibbutzim settlements close to Gaza strip around it to taunt them. I mean what did they think would happen? You deliberately settle to taunt people who already hate you and which you displaced....
Also through out the years, Israel has killed many more than vice versa, so while targeting civilians is always wrong, Israel has done it more through out the years, like many times more.
They killed a relative to our Swedish king too (Folke Bernadotte), who was a diplomat, because he witnessed that palestinians got treated horribly and reported on it.

Whether one supports Israel or Palestinians, he or she cannot dispute the attack on 7 Oct 2023 backfired badly on Hamas and the Palestinians. They expected to terrify Israel and gained leverage with the hostages that they captured. Previous Israeli retaliation lasted for a few days or a few weeks the most before they backed down under intense international pressure. But this time, the war dragged on for over a year and killed tens of thousands of people. Nobody knows how long it is going to last and how many more thousands people will eventually die.

The word "sin" is an extremely old word that dates back to ancient Sumaria (predating the Bible by at least several thousand years) and is an archery related term that means "miss the mark." (In other words, when someone sins, their aim is off, and they hit the wrong target.) And the word "war" is borrowed from Old Norse (the language of the Vikings). It originally meant something like, "confusion" and later became more specific in that it "making war" was to "cause confusion" to one's enemies.
