The last time he's still sounds good and normal was in mid 2009. In Revolver golden gods show they played Sweating bullets , he's still sounded like this, but when Endgame tour started he begin to lose his voice. By the time of RIP anniversary tour, he struggled like he's now.
Dave's vocals are ok, here. Completely shot by Endgame, but Andy Sneap's direction/production on said record, really helped. Less said about 2010-14, the better. lol
@@LeoHoxtonI those years were god awful, saw him in 2011 and it was very sad, by 2014 he had already improved a bunch. Still, his mixed/head voice has been gone for a decade or more now.
Its all about promoting the new album and also avoid paying royalties to that past members. In few words: music is his business...and business is good!
I was at this show.. It was a outstanding preformance.. Very high energy and the crowd was going nuts! You could tell Dave was having a lot of fun as well.
Thanks for all this work man! This is probabbly one of my favorites shows from Megadeth. And the pro shot was all laggy cause it was streamed and 2007 internet connections were poor lol. Appreciate a lot!
Donington, what a crackin venue. Couldn't beat a muddy Donington, music, the ol' plastic bottles full of whatever spinning through the air, brilliant atmosphere. 👏🏻👏🏻🍻
His own solos on UA are great. Love the feel and swing of his first sleepwalker solo for example. Interpreting other people's playing wasn't necessarily what brought out the best in him though and that's what people focus on
Although Dave isn't tecnically much of a vocalist, I miss the angry nasal high voice of his. Sad to see them go on with a vocalist that can't sing anymore.
Its amazing when I reflect on my life the same thing happened with me. After 2007 in a couple of years I looked older. May be there is something there. May be sudden surge in technology and radiation coming off due to it.
@Youknowmyflava exactly! i could never listen to the whole rust in peace live album because of his awful drumming, it's not like he's not talented but i just don't think he's a good fit for megadeth. and glen drover was really good for sure, love his guitar playing on united abominations
@@diamondsonlys Glen Drover is amazing, apparently his brother Shawn was not convincing the fans. But Glen shouldn't have left. Hardly anyone plays that perfect sweep and that aggressive, clean vibrato anymore.
Dave's vocals were on point during this show
100% my thoughts. Absolutely brilliant and clear.
Absolutely
Megadeth 2001 Rude Awakening much better
@@xynfinity I'm pretty sure Rude Awakening was overdubbed...
@@Mr.GoldbarNo, That One Night was the last live show with Dave original vocals, since Rust in Peace Live all the recordings have overdubbed vocals
Dave's voice was still GREAT in this show. Love the bass as well
Love the rythm he does with the fingers instead of pick. Gives much more bass to the songs. :) Love the pick style too

I wish they still played songs from the 2001-2011 albums, they are all awesome!
Unfortunely they ignore them :(

I would love to hear them play Endgame live
@@juanjaramillo6792 sure thing but I wish they played some thing from those albums
I don't think they've ever played a show without Hangar 18 as the opener? Peace sells? Angry again?
that bass is fkin IMMENSE. lomenzo 🔥🔥
I was at this show.. It was a outstanding preformance.. Very high energy and the crowd was going nuts! You could tell Dave was having a lot of fun as well.
HE was high on stg; that s for sure
I was there too and remember it
Maybe the best performance of "Take No Prisoners"
Those drums aren’t it for me
I AGREE!!
In vocals is very good but the tempo is a little slow
@@MaybeHarvey shawn drover was a disgrace to megadeth in his later years...
@@kryptoniana9489 finally, someone said it
God Glen is shredding... What a smooth vibrato!
Also a great era of Megadeth not to forget!!!!

My favourite tour, was lucky to see it live

Holy mechanix wars
Megadeth, marvellous👏🏻🤘🤘
casi olvido lo estupendo que suena megadeth en vivo con afinacion estandar
totalmente de acuerdo broth :( Suena de la c s m r
So cool!!! long time no see this concert. Those audience shots are awesome
fck me, Dave's vocals are so good here! He nails those high notes with vibrato too. Peace Sells... holy shit they are some really high notes to hit.

It actually wasn't muddy this year! Pretty glorious weather if I remember correctly!

Kiko is brilliant but so is Glen Loved this era of Megadeth

Crazy how he aged in 3-4 years
Excellent job man!! Highly appreciating 🖤🖤

One of the best shows for sure

Some mighty good editing here, well done
Graciass, tremendo concierto :)
Best band
Que show espetacular ! Mustaine estava neste show com a voz maravilhosa...
MEGADEATH pra sempre !
Rio de Janeiro-🇧🇷
31:28 : We'll be back
He was right
the best vocal I ever seen
Someone finally fixed the frames for this show! 🙏
viejo, como suena el bajo de James Lo-Menzo en este show, la mezcla de audio es pero de otro nivel.
de la c s m r, ese barbón rubio es tremendo en el bass

Although Dave isn't tecnically much of a vocalist, I miss the angry nasal high voice of his. Sad to see them go on with a vocalist that can't sing anymore.
I would like to hear, as I hear Megadeth, a pro shot of Nirvana live at reading 1991 and most of Alice in chains in 1991 or 1992.
You got the Wembley 90 show released in the Warchest boxset and the Cow Palace 92 from the Countdown to extinction reissue 2012
Dave Mustaine, the king of thrash metal ✊🤘
Caught 'em in 2019 Jogja, President Joko Widodo massive fan. True.🤘
🤘❤️🤘
Dave the man!!! heyyy that tune in the middle sounds like the four horsemen :)
Mix cam and ProShot
Ellefson should always be part of Megadeth.
Dave seems to ignore him
