    I have both the original M6 and M8 and I really like the functionality. Sadly both of them really have horrible cell voltage measurement.. I calibrated them correctly and one time the cell voltage is reading correctly, but the next time I charge there is an error of Up to 0.5V ..
    Trying to fix this online I found more people having such problems with toolkitc chargers.
    Do you know if the newer generation chargers are more reliable and have better cell voltage accuracy ?
    Thanks a lot for your review, to me this seems like a good upgrade

    i hope the feet are strong enough as i have to 3d print on mine coz it broke easily (m6) and the hopefully the fans are better than the original m6 which easily bog down by small dusts. i still have the m6 though and using it as an awesome voltage converter.

    Great review Albert 👍👍 wondering if the legs on the bottom are for better airflow because the fan is on the bottom also I am guessing that you need to make sure this is on a fused circuit in your car and not connected to the cars battery directly seen as tho it is 12amp max?

      The charger is good, I use it as a field charger and on the road from my car sometimes. I don't use parallel charging boards anymore and don't recommend any. I've destroyed brand new batteries with them and many people have had fires because of them. I even know of people who burned down their house. Those things are not safe at all.

      There are so many different models between the two brands but the newer models seem to have higher specs and more features compared to the older models. Also, the quality of the iSDT has gone down while ToolkitRC is now better. I personally use the ToolkitRC M6D as my daily charger.

    Sir, i have a problem, maybe you can help me? Everytime i wanna charge a lipo or llion with the m7, i plug on the batterie and the voltage is going up fast. So it is charging, but not very long and not "to the end". It claims the batterie is full, end of charge. But then the voltage is falling back to lets say 4 volt instead of 4.2 volt. Tho, it was charging to 4.2 volt.
    Do i have forgot any settings in m7?
    Thank you!

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You're putting in more current than that particular battery is able to handle. So the voltage peaks out quickly but there is no energy in the battery. You have to reduce the current to a lower value until it charges without the voltage peaking too early.

      In the menu I showed, its the voltage range setting. So you can set a low-end voltage and if it goes below that, it will give you a warning that the cell voltage is too low and it won't charge. I just didn't show every little detail because the video would be way too long.
