Conrad Tokyo - Hilton Review

I stayed at Conrad Tokyo for one night and I would gladly stay again. Overall score: 7/10
I booked my stay with Amex FHR and got a daily hotel credit and breakfast part of my booking. FHR also promises room upgrade but my room was not upgraded at check in. They however told me they'd gladly upgrade me if I wanted to pay cash, which I passed.
The hotel is in a great condition, the building and the area are relatively new. While there's virtually nothing to do in the immediate area, Ginza is 10-15 mins away walking, and there's a subway station right next to the hotel if you want to go elsewhere.
The breakfast was great. You get to choose an item from the menu that included things like omelettes and pancakes, and you can also grab things from the buffet.
My room had the beautiful views of Hamarikyu Gardens.
I used my hotel credit to get a massage, which was relaxing but nothing to write home about.
Overall I liked the hotel, and I would stay again. However, there are so many great hotels in Tokyo that Conrad experience can't match.

I don't mind taking two elevators just to get to my room, it just makes the hotel fancier.
