LOL the tackle wasnt even that bad. coach/crowd overreacting like crazy. typical to see coaches/parents project their own miserable lives onto referees/other teams especially at the youth level when parents are involved
Vaughan look like very good team with a bunch of individually talented players that know how to work together. One of the better teams I’ve seen on this channel
Anyone else tired of watching players roll around grabbing their chest like they were shot only to magically become fine moments later, even though they "hurt" their leg??? That shit needs to stop yesterday!
I could never cut it as a ref, I wouldn't be able to let poor sportmanship go unnoticed and would end up carding half of both teams for kidnapping the ball upon a free kick or rolling it away, that's my biggest gripe watching these videos, it simply shouldn't be allowed. I do sort of get it though since it's apparently no longer standard that a free kick can only be taken once the ref blows the whistle.
You should be a ref. This is what the sport needs. More refs who make courageous calls and enforce the laws. I make a point of telling players in my pregame that any restart delay on a FK will be a card. The 10 yards is automatic and if you position to block the kick from 2 ft away, you deserve a yellow
as long as you give a warning that delaying the game will lead to a card I think it's fully justified. The amount of poor sportsmanship where a guy boots it into someone else after a play is blown dead is ridiculous. When i played 20+ years ago that would have been a card with no warning and probably would have led to you catching some hands.
Such a weird overreaction to a slightly bad tackle without any visible building frustration, very odd. Red would do well to keep the ball in play and build up openings instead of always forcing the ball forward.
Good U17 game. The ref did a good job and seemed like he kept his cool. Both sides played hard and at the end of the game shook hands and hugged, seems most knew each other. Keep up the good work IST!
who doesn't love when the jersey stretches 2 feet and you have a parent yelling that he's playing the ball. the only balls he looked like he was playing was with that jersey grip reach around.
Lmao that coach is a joke 😂 that wasn’t a bad tackle, didn’t even seem to be hard contact, didn’t see him say a word when his player slide tackled the right back from behind and took the center back along with him 😂 I love when the coaching staff is passionate for their team but don’t make yourself look stupid in the process, watch the game and criticize your own players as well, that’s what you’re there for, pick up the weak points in the game and work on it. Neither team played like they deserved a win, both teams lacked a lot in more than on position, that’s what the coach should focus on, not cry about a normal challenge while attempting to block a pass, and it sounded like he made contact with the ball too
Youth games are always hard to watch. Everyones doing too much on the ball, missing all the fundamentals of the sport. Too many hoggers thinking they can skill through the whole team, yet lack the skill to beat a single player. So many chances to make a simple pass and play the ball around. Instead runs straight to a defender and loses the ball off a shit tackle. Embarrassing and disappointing to say the least. Obviously they work hard and train to keep themselves fit and most do have potential. But if you can’t understand the game and know how to provide for the team and play with as a team youll never be seen as a good player which i dont see any of them as good. Just my harsh opinion maybe a little bitter but aye fuck it
If you watch the game that player has been warned by the ref multiple times to calm things down. Just before the shirt pull he also came in both feet sliding tackle. The shirt pull in general is a foul but warning after warning ref had to give the yellow. Second yellow he deserved as well for instigating the fight by grabbing the player. Kid is good but lacks discipline. If he sorts that out he can go far.
How did the player who gets shoved in the back towards the end end up with a second yellow and the defender got no card at all lol. That was so blatantly a retaliation foul for the no pk shove in the back just prior to that
First off, great skill by young kids on both sides. White was the better team skill wise overall but VERY lucky it wasnt a tied game by 2 dinkers off the post. 2 thinks wrong with the reffing in this game though. High skill level, more yellows should have been thrown 100%. Second the only thing the ref BLATANTLY fucked up was the second yellow for a red on white. You cant get destroyed from behind on a header and the other team be given a foul then send the kid off. Other than that, great game to watch
These young players show very little discipline. The blood thirsty screaming from the bench and the stands is concerning. The overall play and reaction to events on the field is shameful and embarrassing. No wonder we have such an abysmal record of getting into the world cup and Olympics (on the men's side).
My son plays U9. They have played 13 games so far and there have been 3 parents vs parents fights. They are treating 9 year old game like a world cup final. Friggin appalling!! .
Unbiased opinion: white team was more composed on the ball; their defenders were mid at best. Not an enjoyable game to watch due to the stupid fouls by the white team and the cringeworthy mom on the drums with no rhythm
@IST do you remember if the White coach got a card? The referee is putting his 'wallet' away after the coach sits down, but may have been for the red player. The coach definitely deserves one!
Very well ref’s game - too bad the players and coaches, are more interested in drama than the game. When the Vaughan coach is no longer concerned with his teams tactics and play - and resorts to trying to be the ref, it’s a sign he can no longer add any coaching value to his team during this game, he’s reached his ability limit and than loses composure.
How to fix flopping. Only 3 substitutions a game including injuries. If a medic has to come on the field the player must be removed for the remainder of the game.
Or red card for any person trying to simulate. After all, that's the rule in school exams. You cheat, you fail. Don't know why it's different in soccer.
@ lol must be an AR, don't need to be directly behind the AR to see he is onside for me, shadows are the easy tell plus the other lines on the field help as well, it's not rocket appliance
@@ISTSoccer yes they are selling a lie. They refuse to play any other team that’s not in the OPDL for fear of losing and then having to explain to the parents. Lol. From U13 right on up to U18. Biggest scam going in youth soccer.
This refs understanding of the LOTG is not up to par with this level of play. There was many many caution-able offenses and honestly in my opinion, serious foul play challenges ( red card)
@@JT-wu2if while i agree there have been far worse, i feel like a lot of his decision making was inconsistent throughout the game. I get we cant have perfect refs, absolutely everyone and anyone is subject to error, i just feel like his philosophy of the game was fairly inconsistent throughout
@@eternallysosa If you’re referring to foul recognition, holding it perfectly constant throughout a game can hurt more than help. Advanced referees need to recognize moments in the game where it’s acceptable to let play continue, and moments in the game where it’s necessary to make softer calls and stop play more often. More important is ensuring that at any moment in the game, fouls are recognized the same between teams. IMHO ref was fine regarding most foul recognition but could’ve been more proactive on “high temperature” fouls to prevent escalation. Usually a quick card does the trick, along with clear communication throughout.

That’s because they know nothing about the beautiful game 😂😂😂 bunch of Karens
i felt the white teams foul on the two players a bit before that was worse in my opinion, and that would have been his second yellow as well
The coach overreacted on that play, his players did far worse during the game.
Right? Like the dude for Vaughan sliding from behind on 2 guys while up 2-0 with less than 15 to go.
@@jfmahler Agree....should've been a caution straight away.
And the pull back and he shouts the player got the ball.

good quality? lol.

Annoying parents aside, the real MVP for Vaughn was the goal frame. Aided their second goal and kept two goals out.

no, vaughn were clearly better for the majority of the game.

Tackle at 8:05 is borderline red never mind yellow. If the red player's foot was planted that could have been a broken leg.
I'd probably go red if i had the camera view with the studs up. Nothing good ever happens with studs up.
They still do it like American football way to aggressive. It's like they get the ball or they get you either way
@@gewoonnefkin and I’m so glad that even if they miss you can still caution/disqualify for intent
5:08 man, how I hate when the defense throws a play like that.
No communication whatsoever, so they just trip over it and lose it. Smh
they're about as tough as the dog at the start of the video
That 11 who gotta red is so mad for nothing 💀💀💀 dude was fouling whole game then got salty when they do it back
Always get a laugh when people pull shirts and shove with arms, and when the ref blows the whistle they go full drama mode as if they did nothing.
That's where the coach should have raged...not at the ref but at his own player for getting a stupid red.

That 82nd min tackle that caused that little fight was not even a foul.

Essentially a 4th tier - OPDL below MLS->CanPL->L1C
