MIght have a larger toebox than usual but slim at the midfoot. Very very similar to what Altras do)

The women's colorway is the dopest, flyest shoe I've ever seen in the history of all shoes, ever, since the beginning of time. I don't like NB but I am tempted in getting a men's sized women's shoe in a half size down for myself.

just sharing my personal experience with these shoes as someone flat footed: If you feel like you need a bit of an arch support its there but it doesnt really do anything to stop your feet from bending inwards. I don't think it does the stability part for someone like me who got injured running in a race in Nike Pegasus. BUT since the fit is the best ive ever had for my wide feet, I'm going to try running in these with an insole sometime soon.

Ive been dealing with insertional achilles tendinitis so I will be wearing orthotics in these. While wearing the invincibles my achilles doesnt act up at all which is great. The channel Running Warehouse made a video 2 days ago called "New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080 v12 First Look | Ultra Soft Cushioning Returns"
0:44 into that video Connor says "36mm in the heels and 28mm in the forefoot for an 8mm heel to toe drop"
1 week ago you guys made a video called "New Balance 1080v12 | FULL REVIEW | Better Upper... But Also Not?"
6:00 minutes into that video you guys say the stack height is 27mm in the heel and 19mm in the forefoot.

I went to a 12 from an 11 1/2 going from the V9 to the V10. The V10 also has that thing at the bottom of the tongue that's tight - it might loosen up though. So looking forward to the V12 - I suspect that it's going to be out of stock for quite some time when it launches in the United States. I heard that the stack height has increased to 36 mm which is interesting. I have not run in anything that high before even though it's only 2 mm.

Second, for an under 200lb person you might say a rebel v2 is bouncy or responsive but might just be squishy for me where a firm foam for a lighter person (lightstrike?) might be a good cushion for me? Does my weight at an average pace offset a lighter person having to run aggressively to get the most out of a firmer foam? Thx

@@johnjutras2097 just playing attention to the few reviews I saw so far. I had no problem with the Ultra heel in the 1080v11 but many runners did not have a good lockdown. Now with the V12 the lockdown in the heel and the rest of the upper is vastly improved so that adds by itself a better stability for the new shoe. Not to mention the base model is wilder then the v11. All those changes made the V12 to be near 27 grams heavier but the stability and comfort got improved .
Many reviewers loved the new changes even costing the weight boost.

Okay i tried this 1080v12. I am US9, width 4E, gentle slope toe, straight shape feet, slighly high instep.
Since here doesn't have 2E version, i tried D TTS.
Length 1/2size big than 1080v11, width D here = 2E in 1080v11. Knit very good, heel fixed, midsole same like before but more playable.
Conclusion : This is the best 1080 version so far especially for wide foot community 😁
Suggestion : Buy 1/2size smaller than 1080v10 or v11 you already had. If you have Narrow or Normal feet go Narrow version is doable. If you have 2E feet, go normal D perfect!

So i wanna try out the 1080v12. But I dont know what options I should pick, 7Us in wide version (as Jarrett recommended a half size down), or 7.5us in normal one. I personally think that the wide version would be nice for me, but dont know what size to choose.

I love the womens color ways. That purple and yellow is fire. I’m a mens 9.5 2e width. If I went with a womens 11 x wide would that work out for me? Since they run a half size wide?

4:05 Real talk, i can wear a standard width NB. But i like the look of the wide better. So i get the wide because it makes the shoe look better. I mean look at that standard with next to the wide in this part of the video. The standard looks like those shoes they used to use in the 1400’s that where like 2 feet long and skinny and pointy. They where called poulaines. Im just sorry my mans, but the standard width shoes make you guys feet look like to skinny. 🤣
