To give the benefit of the doubt to the VW guy: most AMG wagons that you see around the 'ring are going dead slow because nobody wants to risk crashing a 80k family car.

Damn, the traffic made me nervous and Misha isn't even driving my car (yet). Going fast is one thing but the unpredictable traffic makes it really uncomfortable
what car you gonna bring misha? :) or is it a surprise for all if something you are doing sooner than later?
The most uncomfortable thing on the ring are the other unpredictable cars. Tbh I think that Misha (and many other good drivers) could take it a bit easier when there's heavy traffic like this, since there's always some buffoon who pulls something crazy. And yes I know driving extremely safely kills most of the fun, and if you want to really enjoy the track it demands a bit of action from the driver - maybe sometimes even risks. But at the end of the day it's a risk every time you go to the track. 🤷♂

None of the other drivers are race drivers, though. It might be their first lap ever of the Nordschleife. You can't expect them to behave as predictably as seasoned race drivers.
@@666louis Yup. And Misha has even done really great videos about how to drive safely on the ring.
IMHO 90% of the time he's driving as he preaches, but sometimes, like here, the "race mode" activates a bit too much, and then it is just a matter of time when some first timer pulls in front of him like this.
You should experience Chinese traffic, how I daily drive just looks like how Misha drives on Nurburgring I am not kidding….

Drivers like the GTR only know how to race following a car from behind, once it was in front it was really slow. Obviously copied the entry speed and line looking at Misha’s line and braking point.

Hi Misha, I got out of the hospital a few hours ago. I had surgery to realign my broken collarbone, and to hold it's two halves together (I fell off my electric skateboard two weeks ago oof). I will be watching many of your videos while I am recovering haha. Thank you for doing what you do, you always put a smile on my face :)

Great driving Misha, the GTR driver was only fast on the straights, you dropped him in the corners. The Golf driver needs a good smack before his next drive 🤦🏽♂️

Cup 2 makes a big difference. A friend had that car on ps4s. Much less Grip especially at the front.

I have this car in black and I love it. Best daily you can get IMO. AMG have made all the right compromises/trade offs for fast daily with plenty of cargo space.

Here you were driving W205 C63S, previous gen was W204 C63. Before that was the C55 (W203) which you should try! And then there was the C36 and C43 (W202).

Very nice lap, very fast for a wagon! And I think it's your first video with this generation of c63. I'd like to see the same lap with a sedan w205 (maybe with mine?) and know if it's a lot different from the wagon
Should be better, 80kg less. Sedan without heavy panoramic roof would be ideal.

Yes they should have the exit further up and then it doubles back to the lot. This would give more driving to cool brakes and traffic can be off of the main road.

I own the same car C63 AMGS estate early 2018 model in Iridium Silver with 19" Silver alloys. Am all excited watching this. I have an M3 Touring in pre-order here in Sydney, Australia. Will enjoy my C63S till I get my M3 Touring which I am guessing will be later this year.

Allowing for having to slow down for the hazard and the traffic the lap was just over eight minutes which is very good driving and a very respectable time for the Amg Merc wagon.
6:02 very similar but not the same .. among other things the GT-R is dry sumped whereas the c-class are not 🙂

That Mercedes almost tempts me to but Mercedes again after their horrible drop in quality.
I am close to certain the CCB needed to be burnished before or they will go away and fade. At least for my C7 Z06/Z07. There is a procedure to slowly get them to the point of smoking and then then a little further (about 50 to 60 hard no ABS runs from 65mph to 10) and then cool down. They are good to go after that. If you over do it the pads will get ruined.

Misha, my impression from the videos (also ssc and auto addiction) is that this year traffic seems to be more unpredictable like seen for example with the Golf in the Karussell. Do you think it's getting more and more dangerous driving Touristenfahrten? It seems like there is also a lot more drifting and misunderstanding of slower cars staying on the right/overtaking only left.

A second, close favorite has to be the AMG that was trying desperately to overtake, the AMG GT Coupe.... unless of course a miracle happens and someone so graciously hands me the keys to an SLS....then that will trump all others, because that thing is super sick.
