Wonder if being Monster Hunter first ever cross play have anything to do with effecting the frame rate? Capcom is a great studio and definitely can fix it all eventually.
The Capcom team definitively outdid themselves with these new changes, a true example for other game devs out there. My only concern now, and for other MH fans I'm sure are: 1) Difficulty. The recent journalists that played the newest version already spoke of difficulty being rather low. We all know this is a base game, and it is aiming for a wider audience, so we can't expect Dark Souls 1 level of Difficulty, but nonetheless, in past games MH Difficulty was somewhat comparable to Dark Souls games, especially in endgame. So I really hope that Difficulty increases as we advance through the game, and not let it be a cakewalk for experienced players, which would be a shame. 2) The skill system now divides weapons skills and armor skills. Just look at an endgame skill set in either Iceborne or Sunbreak, a whole lot of offensive skills, right? Now, in Wilds offensive skills can only be equipped to weapons, or accessory if the recent interview is right, so I really hope towards endgame, we can build skill sets that can have reasonably the same Quantity of offensive skills as other games like Sunbreak or Iceborne. Example: Attack Boost max, Weakness Exploit lv 3, Critical Boost lv 3, weapon specific skill (like Quick Sheathe lv 3), other affinity/attack boosting skills All in one set But all in all, it is really looking to be the Best MH game ever 🎮 👌

Lancers Rise!!! It’s our time to shine! Shields up hunters!
Lala barina looks sooo coooool
Oh my god, that hitstop is MEATY! I'm gonna be playing through Wilds with Greatsword and dualblades, so this is excellent for me.
Glaive bounce has returned. WE'RE SO BACK!!!
They need to fix the slow combo speed and go back to them intital combo starter. That sidestep lunge seems to be terrible on purpose. It's like they don't want you to use anything but charge attacks
Yoyoyoyo they brought back that paralysis hammer from MHfreedom
What monster is that hammer from?
The voice over in this video sounds familiar, does she work for Capcom as a VA? I think it's a voice option for female pawns in DD2
What about my charge blade ??? No news ? It's already perfect ?
Wait, that's a new hammer! 😲
It's a scoutfly cage!
It was in work but yeah it’s new in this game
It's an old hammer design, not new
It's Jail Hammer from the old games
Lance rework let's gooooo
I disagree with the item pouch being worse. I think that and the upgraded radial menus are much better, easier to navigate, and much faster to use. I can now have 12 x 8 items in the radial menus, now allowing me to fit everything I need on one loadout
Insect glaive needs its bounce back seeing as we don't have a block or a counter.
It's getting the bounce back
@@floop6278 was this actually confirmed? I'm hearing people say it but I can't actually find proof
@@sbirulina52yes it's confirmed from PlayStation blogs
@@sbirulina52 People who played IG in this playtest have footage of it.
The IGN video shows it clearly. It is back :)
There's gameplay showing the bounces on twitter
Is the wild (pun intended) swings in frames per second fixed? 70-120 fps for a 4070 depending on what you're doing is wild
ye me too with 4070 + i5 13600k 80-120fps more near to 90 in the most real scenario
Honestly good to hear having just built a 4070 Super / 7800X3D PC. It was sub 50 on performance mode in the Beta on PS5 so I just stuck to graphics sacrilegiously.
@kamer7687 I've actually just ordered a 4070 super, so 70 fps on this game of all things sounds pretty damn good. It could be better, but it's better than rise on switch.
This was on ps5. We don't know how it is on pc.
Can you guys get your hands on PC test build😢

Base PS5 on performance mode is definitely smooth as glass, glass splinters on a gravel road. Anything above just made it worse.
@@troll5262 This isnt performance mode
@@Crabo99 It wasn't smooth during the beta is what I'm saying.
Looks just fine to me. Consistent 30 fps in resolution mode? That’s very playable. If you’re desperate for frames it sounds like you’ll get them in performance mode.
@gavinw1184 Yea I hope they made performance a bit better and better textures. I dont think they removed performance mode
What about frame rate mode?
Do you have that video with male lector?
MH:WI is something I miss, I've been wanting to play a newer monster hunter game for ever and I feel like playing the beta made me want the game more lol
I played 30 hours of the beta, and that was because I didn't have much time to spend with it, BRING IT ON!
Same, and I was busy with other things that weekend! I can't wait! Maybe this game will be the one to finally rival the time I have collectively spent in OSRS throughout my life
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO LOVES EUSTACE BAGG
Why does every gameplay of wilds look so blurry? It looks like I'm watching a video that isn't buffering properly or using weird Ai effects.
Either your quality settings or TH-cam compression not being nice to this game
its a lot clearer ingame but my god the performance mode was terrible
@granthefato340 it was an older build of the game so it's probably better in the release build
@@T.H.C_OFFICIAL ive heard, i really had my doubts from the beta since i didnt have the greatest experience but like almost all of my issues got handled with
Chargeblade ?
wait to see how many mfs about to sorry for pick up the the very early build
Research monster into whaaat? XD. I love that host haha
thanks
Who hated hit stop in world??? I loved it, it makes your attacks feel and look more weighty
I did.
They needed to reduce it a bit, especially for charge blade.
@ as a charge blade main I greatly disagree, the combat felt super impactful and weighty. It did a great job of selling it that your attacks are strong, especially with chainsaw mode and SAED. What exactly did you dislike about it?
I can say after playing the wilds beta it felt like the attacks had no real oomph and just felt like they were missing something (I also somewhat dislike how wilds charge blade require a normal discharge to do SAED, that and its atleast 30% slower than worlds because they wanted more tick damage with chainsaw mode.
@@steamaccount2651that was my biggest gripe with charge blade in the Wilds beta. Felt like I was swinging a wet noodle at everything. The feeling like I was swinging a massive 10-15 foot long axe wasn't there. Glad to see they changed that.
@@ThirstyThurman same I just wish it was faster outside of chainsaw mode. I understand they want to make chainsaw mode a more general way of doing damage but making regular mode slower so that chainsaw mode gets more damage ticks is rather annoying
they are just backtracking with excuses. using a small minority for scapegoats to excuse their inept design choices 90% of players don't even pay attention to what hitstop is.
they even said ig bounce was left out "so people would use the new moves instead" like ok buddy sure you did 🙄 ironically that was one of the biggest issues id seen for wilds just so happened to be what they decided to omit for superficial reasons
Dunno why they wouldnt let players select performance mode
They did
@Wicho55th Sorry, I mean in this preview. I know a performance mode is in the full game, it was in the beta, but it was far from being good
@@Crabo99 agreed
Lance main here, I already loved most of the wilds features, excited to see what they have in stock.
Very noticeable hit stops right there.
