My first keyboard :-) what a nostalgy ! Pad, séquencer, loop, pitchpin ben, 100 sounds, capacity to créâtes sound, what else when you are 16 in the 80s.
Cracking keyboard! Had one 30 years ago, great fun to play with. Connected it to my trusty Atari ST and used Quartet sequencer software and a sound sampler I put together myself (I think the circuit design was printed in ST Format magazine....).
Excellent performance and an excellent instrument. I proudly owned one of these . I also gladly owned a PSS-680 the predecessor and others over the years. Y not put him through an EFX processor as this will enhance the sound with reverb, chorus and other fantastic EFX.
Thank you! Putting these little (but big sounding) FM synths through effects processors are great fun, but it would be quite difficult for me to do that now since I now only own 1 PSS and that's the 560!
I know I should know this. What’s that intro song that you’re covering. Vintage techno gold. Sounds awesome. I’m a huge fan of your synth and Keyboard demos. Many thanks. Cheers :)
Thank you!! Well, the very intro part was actually just what I created at the time, inspired by the sound I'm playing it with... so not a cover as far as I know! However, the second part that I couldn't play properly and laughed at my failing was from Super Mario I believe...

My old 1990 Keyboard.. it was good!

@@JDStoneCreations the PSS you’ve got would also sound great via an EFX unit.
Me as a kid: *Presses yellow demo button* .... i'm a music producer now 😎
Thanks for the nostalgia
Nice demo! Love the PSS series. I forgot this one had a pitch bend wheel!

Good demo - thanks! Even though I personally hate those weedy fm sounds.
They’re not for everyone, but they do have their place in some music!
hello, what are the main differences with the pss 680 ?
They are almost identical, only different in the colour of the buttons and also some of the preset sounds may be in a different order!
Please could you do a video on the Casio MT750. I'm sure you're right about the pss780 but I'd like to hear your take on it please
I have sold the mt750... but thankfully I did a video on it before it went! It’s in the editing room, just haven’t completed it.
Thanks for the push!
@@JDStoneCreations do it. I bought a ct6000 off the back of watching one of your vids. Lovely machine and a steal at £25
pss580 is similar only with 3 octaves, styles and sounds the same.
@@Zakonnik2024 well that is pretty similar then isn’t it 😂
Try get casio ct-670
Already had one!
@@JDStoneCreations make one again of it pleese
Budgie?
There were two, Bernie and Flick. Loved them, both gone now, right at the time I’m no longer recording videos in my studio 😂
Cheap cheap.
