There are 3 different details of Ford Racing 3 between the home console (PS2 and Xbox) and Windows versions. The first of all is that, when you have skipped the intro, in the PS2 and Xbox versions (it also counts when the race is loading) you are shown a bar that appears from left to right repeatedly. However, in the Windows version, there is no such loading bar. The second is that on the PS2 and Xbox versions, the crash sounds are a bit more realistic than the Windows versions. Also note that the echo of the tunnels is not in the versions of Windows. The third, and the most important to highlight, is that in the cars that have a turbo (Sierra and Escort Cosworth, RS200, the Focus Air Force and WRC, Powerstroke, and a few more) it turns out that, in a few cars of the version of Windows, you can hear the turbo (RS200, Focus FR200, for examples); On the other hand, in the Xbox and PS2 versions, *IN ABSOLUTELY ALL THE CARS THAT HAVE TURBO THE TURBO IS HEARD.*
The fact the thing still runs and plays should put it alongside things like the N64 Resident Evil 2 port as hardware masterpieces in their own right. The developers managed to pull these things off.
@@acronym.4328 This game is impressive no doubt but Need For Speed Underground on the GBA is vastly superior. The game has 3D graphics PLUS it also has really good physics for a GBA game, cartridge save, and even prerecorded music in fairly decent quality.
Which one is your favorite?

PC always got rigged lazy faulty inferior ports during that era
The ds is hard and competitive, since theres invisible walls and trash hitboxes in opponents
thats why it makes it longer and fun
The GBA version is GORGEOUS if we consider the hardware.
If only it played decently...

That's true, the game doesn't run without problems.
But for me It plays relatively decently 😅

I like the ps2 version
Pc and Xbox Wins
How can the GBA have such abomination like the Sonic 1 port and still be able to pull off running games like this?
I'd still rather play Sonic GBA than this any day though.
Because this had good deveolpers behind it
4:26 а что там Lada Samara делает? Хахаха
Did they just forget the GameCube existed.
maybe they didn't bother with trying to fit the game on it.
WINDOWS XP VERSION
It really surprises me that the PS2 version is on a CD and not a DVD considering the high quality visuals
👍😍👍👍👍
It was on GBA? Oh dear God.
DS version is better. I had that version growing up and it's more playable and fun.
