Faun has great vocals, but their instrumentation is where i find they shine for me. One song i found by accident that you have to listen to is "Neun Welten" by Faun. It's been on repeat for me.
You will never regret cuing up something from Faun. There are a couple of live performances out there and they are worth the effort to track down. Their talent really shines through.

Dude, this is the LAST TIME that I sleep on a Faun album 😭 I cannot BELIEVE that I've been missing this song (and Eluveitie omgggg) for the last two years, aaghhh. They have a version of "Innisfree" on this album that captures, as no other version I've heard, the absolute longing that is conveyed by the original poem. The whole album is just incredible. Magical, truly.. it mattered not if i understood the meaning, the raw power of the music and vocals were enough. There are not many forested areas where i live, but there are still a few i visited when i was younger. It brought me back there. Well done! ❤ and ✌️

Absolutly, "von den Elben" is still my favorite. I personally don't like that they chose the Pop/Schlager route, but they are succesful with it and they deserve it, nothing can stay the same way forever I guess.
Faun is on my list of never seen. 90% of their shows are in Germany. Would have to catch them at a Euro summer festival. How metal is the concept though. A welsh Wizard bringing trees to life to Kill demons. Add in the worlds greatest folk metal band Eluveitie and you have gold.
