Hello Carlos. Thanks for the tutorial. I can't seem to import my Recap exported E57. Any idea how to fix this? I get the error "1. Solution exception:Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
howdy! I have a simple display problem in grasshopper where the loaded E57 point cloud does not give a grayscale representation as seen in these videos, and the voxels are rather large, thus making it difficult to see detailed features. I'm on Rhino 7 and have tried version 2 and 3 of Volvox, both are the same.
Hi Carlos, 🎉 Congrats on over 405 subs! I came across your channel & mark my words, this is your year to make it even bigger on TH-cam. I'm continuing to watch your journey & can't wait to see your newest videos suggested by the platform. Best of the best wishes, Brad J Success 🙌
Great work Carlos! Do you know if it is possible to apply mathematical formulas in grasshopper and then have the outcome of such be reflected on existing point cloud data?
Hello! When I insert the E57 file in GH it says that the component ran once, everything seems ok but I can´t see the point cloud anywhere, any suggestions? Thanks!
Thank you! This tutorial was easy to follow, I look forward to more of your videos.

You cannot overwrite point cloud data/scalar fields in Grasshopper, some estimations can be done in Cloud Compare instead.

In Rhino type Zoom then All then Extents to locate the point cloud imported
hi Carlos, not sure why, but Rhino doesn't pull up the data E57 data , any idea why that might be going on?
