C4D users: we'd love to hear what you think of the plugin via this quick survey: help.poliigon.com/en/articles/8600188-poliigon-plugin-for-cinema-4d-beta 😎
how do i choose the desired render engine. im using corona and choose this on the website. but if im downloading assets they are redshift or something else...
Sorry we missed this message - but for anyone else wondering, it's based on your currently active render engine. The plugin uses FBX behind the scenes anyways, so anytime you import a material or model or HDRI, it will always set it up based on the currently active render engine at that time. Hope that helps.
Could there be a way to have multiple locations for the library? I have a dedicated drive with all my assets and i store textures in a folder "bank_stills" for materials, textures and other still images, and another folder "bank_3d" for models and such. Would be nice to be able to point towards multiple folder. Just my two cents. Love the new plugin!
Your "vetted" octane textures are super old, still using mix texture workflow, unusable. When are you gonna update that? Also, my entire pc becomes very laggy as soon as I run this plugin. I'm back to downloading manually.
I would suggest reaching out to support if you haven't already - be aware there was also a recent version released, which explicitly tested on the 2025 version of C4D on windows.

I used the method specified in the video to install the plugin with cinema 4d on macOS. It doesn't work for me. What I can be doing wrong?
