My dad had a turbo technics mi1 Sierra XR4x4 in Rosso Red. We used to go to Turbo Technics up in Bracknell when I was a kid. Nice to see suck nostalgia 👍🏼
Try lifting the metering head plate with a pair of pliers. Make sure it moves up and down freely (this controls fuel pressure to injectors). If it gums up with fuel varnish over the years, you get the symptoms you have there (misfiring, hunting idle etc). Had these for many years including 280 TT 200 kit. Best to diagnose K-Jetronic from back to front as fuel pump non-return valve is back there and can cause all kinds of issues as well. I still have the K-Jet fuel pressure test kit and the long allen key for mixture control somewhere...
The blanking plug on the CO% adjustment screw is missing on the K Jetronic head. This must be fitted, othewise it will draw air through there meaning that the air flow plate is not metering correctly.
not the 100% capri burble but running mate is a win, single point injection systems dont like being dormant the blow gaskets and seals, hope you and yours had a good christmas mate, and looking forward to the burble, happy new year to you all.
Well done Jamie and co. And getting it running again😊 Did u change the fuel filter for a new one? I noticed you have the caps on the radiator and expansion tank on the wrong way round. Expansion has the pressure cap and Radiator has a plain cap. All the best m8 look forward to the next episode 👍
To be fair I don’t think many people near me can moan when other people make a lot of noise or do drugs stinking the place out , they like to do drugs, I like to play with cars 🤣🤣🤣

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year
Bit of a gallop when cranking, possibly one cylinder down on compression
Most neighbours would not be happy with a car reving whilst watching tv😮
But good luck with the project
