For entire series of cyberpunk, people who recorded Raid solo corp is just V (with Brute force) and Sasha (with Netrunner path)

Also Lucy and Kiwi were diving for hours on end, sometimes whole days, whereas this looks like it was a 30 min gig at most...

I cried my eyes out again. seen it like 30 times and I'm still ruining my shirt. - Cyberpunk has always been dystopian. Phillip K. Dick was somewhat more hopeful than the others. But general these are the themes since the 70's. Main stream popularity goes step in step with our approach to it's realization. There is a bill that has been lurking in the wings for several years now that would allow Large Corporations to claim city sized sections of land as sovereign. With their own police force, laws, services, etc... We're a couple bad election cycles away from Google/Apple/Microsoft/Amazon creating entire Corporate City States.
I've watched this MV a hundred times, mostly before the show even came out, and it's ALWAYS brought tears. Sasha has been my fav CP Edgerunners character even not being part of the show... 💔

Kind of the reason why the like/dislike views on TH-cam removal was suspicions to me if I'm being generous. Even if you take the explanation of sparing feelings at face value, it helps some big corporation from taking it too hard when they screw up and make something with a huge dislike ratio. That reeked of a "make more advertisement revenue" scheme.
No happy endings in Night City unless you are with a joytoy or in a virtu. The song is from the show but I believe the animation is done by a small team inspired by the show and maybe commissioned by CDPR. Regardless of the origin it is really good. Between Cyberpunk and Arcane there has been some really good music coming out of shows and games. Some of my favorite songs are from these shows.

Only good character in the entirety of Edge Runners... only one that doesn't do something for the self-satisfaction or money... she sacrifices herself to get tell the truth to everyone who has ever wondered why their loved ones may have died... truly the only good character in the entire series. Cynics may say "there is no good in Night City" because that is what they were told by the guy who made it in the 80's... but no, this music video was entirely about making a self-sacrifice to bring others piece of mind.

Cause I can immediately throw two recommendations your way: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Kill La Kill. Gurren Lagann is technically not Trigger... but it's the same people who made it while still being at Gainax whereas Kill La Kill is their first release under the name of Trigger and it's batshit crazy. Kinda both are... in a very good way. And a funny side story: Just as you were pondering whether to finish this show after 2 episodes, I was also pondering whether I wanna sit through your reaction cause it felt like it might devolve into hatewatching but I'm glad you stuck around with the show and that I stuck around with your reactions :D
