I've seen more inventive ideas and fabrication skill deployed in this series than anything else I've ever seen. I'll admit, I believe I'm going to be sad that it's coming to an end. I'm dying to see it finished, but also wanted to see it go on forever. The lengths you went to in order to package this all is extraordinary. I don't get to say this very often, but I've even been able to leverage a few of the methods that I learned from watching this... things I never thought of on my own over the years. I want to thank you for sharing all of this with the perfect level of detail, all while not going overboard. It is the perfect blend of editing out the bore, and showing the method. I know this isn't "done" yet, but I still want to say that I can't wait to see what you come up with next. cheers fellows!
I started watching this when I was 13, I'm now 20, I'm excited and sad to see the project so close to completion! You guys have been doing an excellent job. This project has inspired me to build my own cars. The one I have now is an 89 Camaro Z28 that I built my own ladder bar rear suspension for, built a high compression 327 for it, and much more. But without this series I probably wouldn't have found the motivation and inspiration to do it lol. So thank you boys! Excellent work!
It's hard for me to believe I can get emotionally invested over some car being worked over by some blokes in some shed in some town on some island clear across half a continent and the Atlantic ocean . But I did. Seeing that empty space caused some manly tears to well up and a Guinness was hoisted in tribute.

After a deceade in the trade, it still annoys me how most TV shows just don't show the effort required for even a half-decent finish. I couldn't agree more I spent a good art of my youth training to do bodywork and am always disappointed with how little you see in other such car programs. It is truly an art to see it done properly.
Episode 21 came on New Years Eve 2018. Since that time, you have, over the course of, today, exactly one year, produced 7 episodes of Binky, 4 episodes of the Escargot, 1 episode of Howie Did It, one "Understanding Enhancement" and a small bit on what comes after Binky. Other people have complained about how long it takes between episodes, how little you produce, and I have to admit that I have mentioned it too, although I do want to make it known that I wasn't actually all that serious. All of the above, and indeed all of the work you've put out has been at your own expense, all there for the great enjoyment of the viewers. So, I would just like to say, thank you for all your work, and if there are any real and SERIOUS complainers, do please invite them to take the Asshole Train all the way to the end from me and, I'm sure, a vast majority of the people who watch the videos.
Richard has shown me this whilst brushing his teeth, getting ready for bed. It's posts like this that makes it worthwhile. Thanks for the kind words and Happy New Year! Oh, it's Richard's wife by the way.
Hello, Richards wife! (Sara(h), I think I recall?) Thank YOU for the answer. But, are you really sure you want to be answering me instead of checking on Richard? You KNOW he'll cheat on the brushing of teeth. And you'd better check that he's washed behind his ears, too, if you weren't there for that!
Nik's positive attitude exudes such confidence. I love it. "...problems here, here and here. But that's ok, because we have welders, grinders and hammers" Sweet attitude.

I was in med school when I watched the first Project Binky episode and now I'm in my last year of medicine residency. As I've gotten older and busier I've had less and less time to consume media and enjoy things that I used to but I have always kept up with you lot. In fact, this is the only TH-cam channel that I get a notification for. I can't believe that the car is finally done. Waiting for the next one!
What a wonderful Christmas gift for us all! If I hadn't seen the build with my own eyes (thank you again for taking the time to film it all!) I wouldn't believe it. Meanwhile, they made a few brackets, a couple of custom panels, and some wheel arches. Seems like equal productivity to me...
And thats why I never bought a motorcycle. The way I drive, that would get me killed. If I'm lucky. And even then, theres better ways to die. Later.

2:10 is what *actually* should have been in TH-cam Rewind 2019!
Merry Christmas! Here’s to the best mini build in the world! 🥂
"removing an unnecessary bracket" . That's it reporting this obscene content and unsubscribing. lol!
To be fair, it wasn't a very nice bracket.
@@fredygump5578 OEM crap.
Grommets are the new brackets, I presume.
That was disturbing
Seeing that empty bay at the end nearly brought a tear to my eye. Our journey is almost complete. It’s bittersweet...
We need an "I Believe" t-shirt with Binky on it
Is that an MMX reference?
An excellent early Christmas present
I'm guessing 8 more episodes for reassembly.
I'm up for that! :D
Delighted to hear the new rivnuts described as "skookum" - I didn't know Chinook was spoken in Shropshire!
I sense a serious bracket and captive nut withdrawal soon. It's so eerily empty without Binky. Hats off to you guys, incredible work
This video series is older than my kids.
Mine too.
@@BadObsessionMotorsport :D
IN COLOR.. says it all. Its been running since the late 1960's. Their fathers started the show and their kids well finish it, or give up after earth runs out of patrol. XD
Been going since I was in year 4, I'm in year 11 now!
Rome wasn't built in a day and all that
Ordered a mug today. It will be perfect to have in the garage when I start assembling parts on my mk2 cortina project. I got the car two years ago after my grandmother, and I've been gathering parts since then.
just remember, while the shell is in paint jail, they still need to build the real engine. probably a couple episodes there
This just means they're gonna build another jig-thing to test the engine!
three years then
@@kenanfurcle786 I think the engine jig will have full six-axis motion and they will test to ensure it runs even while upside down or sideways. Binky is so damn awesome it'll be riding tunnel walls and ceilings...
@@mazzalnx You bet they'll make the jig spin so they can test the engine at multiple Gs of acceleration,
@@idiotstupid5904 hahahaha 3 years to get the block ready... another 3 for final assembly
ITS A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!!!! thanks for some Christmas day viewing
The ease of pulling the drivetrain on this thing is impressive
I hope you'll be keeping the British Leyland plughole of despair on the bonnet.
Another Hub Nutter?
@@cambridgemart2075 I am the actual HubNutter. Big Binky fan.
@@HubNut Feeling slightly embarassed as I realised It was your post I was responding to! From another Binky fan.
2 videos in less than a month? It’s a Christmas miracle!
The video’s not done til the rabbit roars!
You damn right.
@@BadObsessionMotorsport Well?....WELLL???? (he said in that rising tone whilst rocking onto his his toes, eyes bugging out like a drill sergeant)
That's killer rabbit!
By far the best car fabrication/build show out there. The rest don't even come close.
An unwanted bracket? Surely not! Great work guys, as an engineer-fabricator-welder myself I am in awe of what you're doing here.
happy easter
Thank god we've got another two years of cleaning up the running gear to look forward to...
Edit: "Come on now" Didn't doubt you for a second.
merry christmas to all!
I watched this show years ago when I was a kid.
This was an episode that marked a milestone in the history of this project. I can't wait to see the next chapters. A sensation of emptiness is in the air. When this is over, we will miss it as a part of things to be done
If I had friends, I'd tell them to watch this! Noice one!
ah yes ... nothing like a good strip-show. Some Burlesque music would have been quite appropriate ...
I had hair when this project started, I may not live long enough to see it driving.
This is hands down the most legendary project ever to be taken on by two blokes on a shed. I'm thrilled to help support this crazy project!
Kinda a wierd feeling knowing it's gonna be done soon
Right like I'm not going to know what to do with my self when its done
@@dylanhigginbotham4520 make your own, by then you have step-by-step instructions available from start to finish
Done soon? Have you not heard the expression "paint shop Hell"? It could be another year.
@iBiana Doubt Yeah, there several more episodes of material available. ;)
When ever I rebuild a vehicle I seem to have enough spares to start a copy build, I’ll be dead impressed if the guys manage to not have a heap of bits that they can’t quite remember where to fit.
