Blackout shooting down the very helicopter he intended to scan as an alt mode makes perfect sense in the context of the first film.

@@nata-it7ez He was trying to invade said military base so he shot down the helicopter that was originally heading there and scanned it in order to slip through there defenses.
Games that let you play as the antagonist and allow you to kill the hero as them go so hard.
I genuinely want to find more games like that. Overlord 2 is close but you still kill an evil villain at the end and are more lawful evil than chaotic evil.
Plus those games are more comedic. I want a serious game where you play as the villain and it ends on a dark note where you take over and destroy the world.
My cousin and I used to love playing Destroy All Humans when we were little. Really fun game about being bad guys
@@comiccinema8177im not sure if you enjoy strategy games, but Total War Warhammer allows you to play as zombie faction, vampire faction or even chaos demon faction and you can literally conquer the entire world and corrupt the world with dark magic. They have some of the coolest characters in my opinion
@@Jaymo00 I played some of the remake of that too, but that kinda stuff still leans more satirical and comedic. It’s fun and well designed as a game, but the impact of being evil is lost when the game is winking at you with all the destruction as well.
Maybe Destroy all Humans but with the tone of like, Spielberg’s War of the Worlds or Battle: Los Angeles.
Basically instead of the game going “ha ha you’re so evil!” I want a game to go “Holy shit. You’re EVIL!!”
I have deep psychological damage that demands an outlet for my twisted desires of chaos and destruction.
@@Jaymo00 I do love StarCraft, but I suck at the Total War games. The battle stuff is fun but the resource upgrading world map metagame always confuses me lmao. But still, very well designed game and if I got better I could get into that and enjoy the chaos of basically being Sauron.
I don't know why but I always preferred the DS version because it gave more character to the decepticons. Barricade was the smooth talking one, blackout was the cold and calculated one, brawl was the big kid one, starscream was, as always, the power hungry one and megatron was, well you know, megatron. It something you don't really get in this game.

23:13 there was an unused hoover dam level taking place outside the dam where Blackout kills bumblebee, which is why Jazz is escorting Sam and Mikaela in the city

The Revenge of the Fallen game isn't as hilariously janky and charmingly weird as the first movie game, so it might not make for as good a video, but it's still really fun (even more fun than the first one, actually).

I heard the PC version had a "2.0" mod that caused a major overhaul in the gameplay, adding tweaks and restoring unused content like special moves, dialogue, and even characters. I'm curious to see how you'd enjoy that experience! That said, this and the video with Autobot campaign helped recall my childhood, yet again. Major respect

I’ve always had a tough time distinguishing between the Deceptions, and it makes me feel like an idiot. Anyway, great video yet again! I felt what it was like to be the villain and I wasn’t even the one playing.
No don’t feel like an idiot!! Decepticons in these movies look very similar in terms of color. Thank you buddy!! Always so refreshing to see you here still, even with tons of new faces!

Also fun fact - the reason the models change is cause the cutscenes without dialogue are in-game animations using the game models, but the ones animated with dialogue are a different set of models that move alongside the characters speaking. It’s a really weird decision on the game makers part for sure
Yep, pre-rendered cutscenes are usually better but just the designs specifically are so different haha!!

I grew up with this game on the PS2 , Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS and what I loved about the PS2 and 360 versions is the bonus features with the cosmetics that change the appearance of the Transformers you play as, there's a skin of G1 Megatron which makes him become G1 Megatron, the only transformation he has is just him flying.
What I loved about the DS version is that I owned both Autobot and Decepticon versions and in the Autobot one, you actually have a playable Rachet, also you get to have your own robot character you play as
Legendary stuff. I miss this era of transformers badly
@benpretend_ I doubt we'll ever see remasters of all the Transformers video games that came out, my first game was Transformers: Armada for the PS2 and it was pretty good, sadly I never really got to finish it when I was a kid mainly because it slipped my mind

This is a very underrated TRANSFORMERS game!!!! I just got an Xbox 360 last week at Goodwill, and I got myself TRANSFORMERS 2007 game, and just today I got TRANSFORMERS 2 game!!!!!

The sandbox and destruction in this game has no right to be this good. Throwing and blowing up gas tank is so fun 😂
Absolutely the best part 🤣🤣
To complete the objectives of each level:
-Throw: grab a small tree and get your camera angle as above your head as you can and then throw it away the object you throw has to be in the air for a while to get the medal
-Speed: in vehicle mode get to your top speed in a straight line.
-jump: (only for cars) if the map doesn't have a big ramp, just get to the top of a tall building and jump from there in vehicle mode.
-Slide (just for cars): just do drifting circles in vehicle mode while holding X or Square and then using nitro with A or X.
-Evil/Heroic: just shoot down Decepticon or Autobot drones (with the rapid fire weapon) make sure they take constant damage for a limited period.
-Destruction (Decepticons only): Just destroy the buildings in the map.

Did you know that if you find & collect every secret (Autobot/Decepticon symbols, energon cubes, advancements, & side quests), you get some pretty cool stuff? I don't want to spoil them for you in case you haven't found them already, but they're awesome!
*Disclaimer: it takes a long time to find every unlockable. And I mean, a long time

@@benpretend_ lol. I recently completed the game, and had the same thoughts (until I checked the description, and found out that only Optimus & Megatron got G1 designs; Starscream & Jazz were just repaints)
@@benpretend_ I wish that they added G1 designs for all the playable characters, like Bumblebee, Starscream, Ironhide, and Jazz
Getting all the cubes takes such a painfully long time lol
@@benpretend_ No kidding. It took me days to find the final ones hiding around the maps. I had to look up the game on the web just to find one of the missing symbols

One of my favorite games as a kid, but I just could not figure out climbing buildings or the bumblebee warehouse level. I wish this was playable on Series X, I still have the disk

Without a doubt a legendary Transformers game. I played yesterday and today. I’ve never stopped playing and without a doubt, the Decepticon campaign ending is dark as the night but the Autobots ending is awesome as ever with Optimus’s speech🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

If you think this game is easy as you think and you're "good" at it... Just you wait until you play the 2.0 mod. It's harder than Dark Souls and you will have constant nightmares and instant regrets all the time when playing that...

....the autobot storyline is canon with extra steps and the decepticons storyline is more like a "what if" and more speculative as to what the decepticons would have done if megatron had beaten Optimus...with extra steps
