- today i talk about the 3rd transformers tie in game transformers dark of the moon which even though its pretty bad its not the worst of the tie in games and i think that makes it pretty good

It's funny how this game implies that Soundwave traveled to America to scan a Mercedes SLS AMG, went back to Africa, then when Megatron told him to fuck off he traveled all the way back to America again. No wonder he was so desperate to kill the autobots to the point where he would take orders from a human in DotM

The multiplayer was much better than the campaign, I had a lot of fun in it. Especially playing as Soundwave, he was a blast.
The multiplayer was awesome I still remember Megatron’s line of “Team Death Match. ELIMINATE THE ENEMY TEAM.” Great game 👍

Fucking sucks that Activision is greedy and not only did they make these games non backwards compatible but now they shut down multiplayer servers and you can only play them in illegal ways now like MW2 or BO2

can confirm, DOTM's tie in was an absolute banger, was the first transformers game I ever played and I had genuine fun playing it, never finished the story sadly and probably never will, lost my copy of the game (I have no idea where it is) and don't have a ps3 anymore, I still occasionally quote the "OVERLOOOOOOOOAD" death sound from the random decepticons while playing games

Fun Fact: The DS game for Dark Of The Moon is also canon as they talk about missions that correlate to this game. Or they actually talk about characters that made it to the console version such as Mixmaster.
For example: The Final boss of the DS game in Autobots is Megatron, whom you fight as Ironhide. Basically in the game Optimus tells The Autobots that he’s fighting Shockwave. So it seems that Ironhide followed Megatron and went to fight em off. While in the console version, Optimus is currently trying to stop Shockwave. You can also say that Megatron ends up defeating Ironhide and successfully leaves in The Decepticons version

This game and the cybertron games holds a special place to me because these games were my childhood, I remember loving them so much
I loved the transformer 1 tie in game as a kid.
Now that I think about it, it's a little repetitive.
But kid me didn't care.
This game was definitely better than the movie in how it handled it's characters. Ironhide got a lot more screentime and Mirage was able to flex his personality with better dialogue than his film version. Also Shockwave actually got to fight Optimus Prime in a proper one on one fight rather than just dying in two seconds.
After rewatching the movies it pisses me off how alot of the autobots and deceptions don’t get alot of screen time especially ironhide in the 3rd movie he did nothing despite being the big boom character like wtf
The only problem in the game is that we never got to play as sentinel

To be fair, Shockwave being an assassin rather than a scientist isn't unique to this series.
It's basically just a call back to Shockblast from Energon, where he's one of the most ruthless Decepticons around.
And Shockwave's DOTM design makes him look way more like a ruthless killer instead of a scientist

One of my favorite Transformers games. My only issue was the weird driving controls
It definitely had it's up and downs but I still had plenty of fun which is more than I can say about rise of the dark spark. I'm glad someone else is bringing up these classic games. They should've really remastered the cybertron games, they were the best transformers games in my opinion.

I remember playing this game a lot when it came out and i was 6 or 7. even its not that great compared to War for Cybertron or Fall of Cybertron, it will still hold a special place in my heart along with War and Fall.

Great video, I really like your opinionated/Video essay videos as they're just nice to watch and your takes on the Bayverse movies are really unique as they're not just oh the movies are bad and bring up the same criticisms that are obvious, but have been said to the moon for me as a Transformers fan and it's nice to hear a different perspective on the movies and what are actually good with them while still bringing up the bad stuff here and there, but not going off track of the video topic, great stuff.
To relate to the video, I don't know of it's just nostalgic bias or if it's an unpopular opinion or not, but I really like the Tie in game for Revenge of the fallen that was released on the Playstation 2 more than the objectively more loved Playstation 3 version as I liked the Beatem up fashion of the game and how you can just relax with it as not get swarmed with information and tedious missions, okay the game has some of those like the Starscream level and Sideways level, but what the game has in repetitiveness it has interesting level design and varied characters you can play as like Jetfire, Sideways and Jetpower Optimus and even the given characters you'd expect to play as have their own unique power up sequence as you gain energon to do this cool moves that have weight behind them when used, I might be singing too much praise to the game as although growing up with cousins who had the 2007 Game on PS2 ot really wasn't for me as I was too young around about 4/5 years old, but in whole honesty I love the Rotf tie in game for the PS2.
Can't wait for what you make next as previously said your videos are really interesting and entertaining, to end off I don't know in the grander scheme of the Bayverse movies I like Age of extinction the most as my guilty pleasure movie as I like the emotional scenes, the Dinobots, Lockdown, Kade and Optimus talking to each other and their perspectives on the situation they are in and the general story and premise justs works for me, but it could be better like alot better as it's a more expection versus reality aspect of the movie that gets to like the on the run and The Autobots not trusting humans could be explored even more than it is as the KSI storming scene really shows that the writers could have done for the whole movie, instead of stupid jokes.

Really liked the video, but I’d recommend doing either retakes or cutting out the awkward pauses and repeated dialogue, it makes it hard to follow on and kills the flow in a lot of places

the 07 movie's tie in game was amazing, I grew up with it on wii u.
i had the online demo of revenge of the fallen on 360. one match/ gamemode but it was free and all your friends could play, so we played it a lot. both I thought were great, and they're aged... but still not bad for a movie tie in game.
the War for Cybertron games are just amazing.

Gonna have to hard disagree on the RoTF console game being mid; it's far better that DoTM when it comes to graphics, gameplay and missions, as well as the campaigns being pretty good. Obviously the Nintendo DS versions of Transformers will always be godly in comparison to the other games, especially RoTF and DoTM for the DS.
Also piss off with the random earrape, I had my volume as low as possible and the Connor clip still left my ears ringing >:/

Story wise DOTM was the best I've played (Not including WFC and FOC)
Gameplay wise ROTF was the best one out there, the Gameplay was so well done, the Vehicle switching was so smooth, and it actually felt competitive in multiplayer.
Meanwhile TF1 is pure nostalgia

Great video, i've been waiting for someone to summarise this game, plus I enjoyed your commentary. I think some of your audio cuts could be worked on. There are moments where you voice either just awkwardly cuts or you stumble some words. All will improve as you continue making videos.

This game was very fun….but the problem with this game is that it was rushed and unfinished which I guess are the main problems with movie tie in video games. This is why wfc, foc, and transformers universe are the best transformers games of all time in my opinion because those games had a passion behind it and not some quick lazy attempt, unfinished, rushed, quick money cash grab of a game.
I love this game because its not a remake of a story we already know about instead its a brand new story that takes place before the one we know about and answers a bunch of things that were not surprisingly left out of the movie like how Megatron got his truck mode the decepticons launching a rocket to the moon to recover the pillers what happened to all the autobots that were cut from the movie where shockwave came from and where he's been on earth soundwave finally landing on earth Ironhide actually useing his new weapons how the decepticons set up camp in Africa and its just an overall good game
Multiplayer mode was super fun
King Kong was a great tie in game for the movie, was hooked to that especially playing as Kong on certain levels👌

You need to improve your editing greatly. That script flub-up during the staircase part ain't good.
The 28 stab wounds was also way too loud even for being the point of the bit. Audio flubs have been common in these videos and need to be cut out because besides the minor editing issues, the content is really interesting to listen to. I'll keep following the channel but won't sub until the audio and recording issues are fixed to give a more refined professional feel.
This was legit my first game on PS3. The transformations and the fluidity was insane to me(as a ps2 owner). Game was actually pretty good
Im sorry I disagree strongly. Transformers 2 was not mid. That game was unparalleled levels of fun with a bunch of nodes and a wide variety of abilities. I much prefer it's style than to the one war for cybertron and the others populated though I love those games as well

I remember playing only the multiplayer for this game on the 360 as I only had the demo. Thinking back I really enjoyed it actually. May not remember actually what it was, but I remember the feeling of it and how I would grind on it. Those were good memories for me.

Biggest nitpick i had towards dark of the moons game was the MAPS are ridiculously small for transformers. If you look at revenge of the fallen, the maps were literally made to be climbed and travaled in vechile modes.
