Exactly, i ran Codm somewhat smoothly on a used galaxy grand prime Pro that couldn't even run clash royale without freezing, its amazing what optimization does.
Bro I hate companies that just make games “multi platform” but in reality they made it in the mind of catering towards console/pc users while exploding our phones in the process
Making their first mobile game with their high end engine instead of the one they actually had experience using was the main problem imo. They tried to work with mobile like they do with pc but we still don't have the technology or knowledge to go full bananas on phones yet. Maybe in a few years, if the mobile scene gets more attention and dedicated quality content, we'll be able to work with it more freely.
I am an active CODM player. Sure CODM has its own flaws, it is not a perfect game. However, the gaming experience CODM offers has been great for mobile gaming. I couldn't understand why they had to remove Alcatraz and Shoot House from CODM so we were forced to play the map on CODWZM, what kind of marketing was that? CODWZM does the complete opposite of what made CODM great in the first place. I wanted both games to coexist, but WZM is a colossal mess beyond repair. You are correct, WZM was dead on arrival.
I doubt they would've let both games coexist for long. It wasn't made any better when a lot of big CoDM ccs started saying the maps were toxic all at the same time. It honestly made me lose a lot of faith in this content creators so I stopped watching a lot of CoDm videos as well.
I think if they made the game with Warzone 2020’s fundamentals it would’ve been better than CODM. Of course I’m talking about if there weren’t any technical issues with WZM. They used MWII as the base game and that’s why 1. It’s looks so ugly and 2. It plays horribly. I doubt the game is gonna feel any better ever the console and PC recoil just doesn’t go with mobile idk why they would do that. There is no way to enjoy the game on mobile with that awful visual recoil.
I'm on a POCO F5 playing with 20gb ram and a snap 7 and the game not only overheats my phone, it drains the battery. If I'm playing while charging it, the battery slowly decreases, if I'm playing and not charging the phone, the battery lasts about an hour (at full capacity)
I had amazing times with my best friend in Modern Warfare II, especially DMZ mode. Seeing how far the franchise has fallen---or rather CONTINUES to fall---since then has been a shocker beyond shockers.
Activision releasing COD Warzone to mobile platforms is like CD Project Red announcing a mobile port version of Cyberpunk 2077 and promised that it would like the original, with all the features and graphics to boot. Companies need to start evaluating that some markets are not viable for the product they developed and consider the specifications required to run their game and fix the bugs and glitches before official launch instead of being a yes man to every prospect of making profit out of everything. Some games are just not meant for mobile gaming, we need to accept that fact.
I was actually a QA tester for this game. When testing they gave us fans for the phones and they would still overheat lol. They used to have us test the new skins and shop too so even while testing I knew the game was gonna suck. I was given a really shitty old android phone (that maxed out at 15fps) and I literally never used the mobile controls (unless directed to by my testing). I havent been a fan of COD since Bo4 bc i just felt the downfall otw. I was hoping MW was gonna be good but upon release I was thoroughly disappointed. When put on MW Mobile, I was almost offended. The whole game just felt like a cash grab and it was literally a mobile game. I still worked hard but that was the most depressing gaming I had ever gone through.
The higher the heat, the less efficient the hardware. Let alone thermal throttling which I would assume exists in mobile devices as well. Thus if you can barely run it before your handheld reaches it's temp limits it'll just get worse over time
The comments have mentioned it already but what makes games like P2W Fire, PUBG and CoDM successful in the first place wasnt because of "high graphics" or "ultra realistic gameplay" but because its a simple game that works on low to mid and high end devices and they have (relatively) simple controls. Acthotvision could never fathom that,I believe. So I would rather stick to playing CoDM than this pile of trash until the QoL improvements somehow make WZM more playable than its current state

Been playing this game for a few days on my S24 Ultra and so far never had any issues with it. I didn't realized that this game causes internal damages to people's phones. Now that is crazy.
There's a reason why most car companies copy engine layouts, design philosophies, technology early on before trying their own flavor of the same design or directly making a new one. It makes sure that if some problem rose from it, it'll be easy to detect and fix. Just look at minecraft. They both have two different coding languages that are heavily opposite from each other (bedrock is C++ while Java is well, java). This is also why the other game might have performance issues due to spaghetti code, it can be fixed by some people who know what they're doing on that code, outside the company in the form of mods, while the other had better performance and online capabilities but suffers from limited actions from a mechanic that the other had, incompatible item mechanics (bundles work on java but not on bedrock) and some rare but very annoying bugs like sudden damage because the game read the damage fall off in a different instance, sudden lag spike, acting like a online server but it's single player (thanks to bedrock being always online ready), while enhancing said issues if you run this on a platform that's probably way weaker than the rest (like nintendo switch issues). That's why Unity is always used for mobile most of the time. It can be modified to look good if you can design well. Any issues can be fixed due to other people outside your group that could provide support and having the power to control if the game would run well or not based on your skills in the mobile game development. That's why there's alot of unity games in google play. Besides the issues of Google play not giving a fuck, unity games can be designed fairly easily that if you know how to use it, you can do a simple game on it and shove tons of ads in it to get money and make a new one to repeat the cycle. Activision should've clenched their ass and made a better contract with tencent if they really want to get greedy. They instead wanted to hog it all without understanding mobile development in a engine that they designed for platforms with a much more powerful specifications.

This is so typical of AAA expects. "Hey let's make our own game on a platform we have little experience with using an engine not designed for it!"
The Main Reason Why Games like Bloodstrike, PUBG, And Free Fire, CODM Were Immensely popular was due to the Availability of those games, You Could Literally play it on your 2015 Phone!, Even on a 2013 Flagship, And These Games Were Marketed successfully.

Spoiled uneducated freak
