Was picking up wood today from my buddy that has the 37 d and we was thinking it’s time to go play with that again . They sure are a heavy of a machine .
Thanks again Andrew for the splitter you gave to Buckin’s channel. He used it again on his last video to help others benefit from it. You’re a good man and your products are first. 👍👍👍
I thought you meant
Buckin Firewood.
Cradle with auto cycle makes a world of difference, toss it in, hit the levers and grab the next piece. Great machine!
Love the log cradles on my 22-28 for the exact reasons you mentioned here. I only wish it had a wireless remote control to activate the push block to really make it hands free… 🤔 👀
I agree with ya there Andrew., Those log cradles on those horizontal splitters sure work well. Great video as always!
Hey Andrew, I've had my 22-28 for 2 weeks now and made my first Eastonmade video 10 days ago. Only had it for three days and mentioned the log cradle as one of the main reasons for choosing Eastonmade. Everything was more than I expected. The Galtech valves are a thing of beauty. Managed to do 1/3 cord in 5:43 (solo) and can honestly say I felt familiar with the machine quickly from watching your videos and the other great channels. Many Thanks!
I call the Eastonmade cradle Throw n Go.
It was definitely a warm one! Glad to see I wasn’t the only one out there dying lol.
Heck of a great machine there!
Two rhumbs up on the cradle. Awesome innovation. It works. Cheers!
Hello Andrew, they say it is in the 90’s here, in the bobcat its 70 degrees but i tuff it out😂 sweet setup👏👍🏼🇺🇸
Yeah yeah yeah Larry lol.
We had rented a Mighty Ox with a 6 way wedge. My girl runs the splitter and I load the log lift with a thumbed Kubota 008. She did good but several times the big logs rolled off and had her jump out of the way. Next we looked at the Wolf Ridge and although it was a nice splitter it didn't have a cradle. Finally after seeing your videos the cradle just made sense and we purchased a 12-22. She is getting better with the excavator but prefers to split because it is easy for her to operate. The log cradle was key.
That's an absolute beauty
Greetings from the Adirondacks
36C is 97F, that’s freaking hot. Be careful Andrew, don’t want you dying from heatstroke.
Good point about the cradle! It’s definitely been very hot here in the Midwest as well. Stay cool Andrew👊🏻
When I made my decision to buy a commercial grade splitter and after seeing in person all the different designs at the Bunyan show the 5-11 was my choice . Absolutely happy 👍👌🇺🇸🇨🇦💪
That 37D doesn't labour at all pushing those rounds through unlike the competitors' machines...at the end of the day, it means a ton more wood through the wedge. Great job!!!
What size ring could you run through that 37D i like the machine the only sticking point for me is i deal with BIG timber between 26 and 42inch and above so need something that can deal with it. Love the videos and your products!!..👍
Andrew, Buckin Billy told us how you gave him a splitter with no expectations other than to help someone. Thanks, that was very kind and I just wanted to recognize your gift.
I've owned a Wolfe Ridge 35C for two years now and I couldn't agree with you more, Andrew. I wish that my machine has that cradle every time I see one of your splitters. If I ever change machines, it will be to a 37d, specifically for the cradle. Other than that I love my splitter.
G'day Andrew, I put my boot up on the nasty blocks then when they let go the other half flys across the yard I work alone when I'm splitting. When I'm in Ontario in summer I've noticed with all the fresh water lakes it certainly makes it steamy 👍.
Andrew, Great 37D Model. Times money Time you can not get back.
One of the OG Eastonmades here may not have all the bells and whistles of that 37D but the log cradle it sure does. Still one of the best purchases I have made for my home, yearly firewood is quick to split! Only regret is never getting a conveyor way back because getting the wood away from it and into a trailer or wagon is the time consuming tedious part by far.
If you could design some system that would make all of the 40C cut offs line up for the splitting wedge, you would have an auto wood processor.
It’s hot here in South Carolina. Heat index 102
Haha yep today was the worst out there. It’s a Holiday here in the US and had to take advantage and produce. Eastonmade splitters are such production beasts. I just have the Ultra now but man it flies. I had the rounds stacked like you did and they were only 8 inches diameter. Done in no time and the dump truck was full. It doesn’t have cradles or auto cycle but still the stroke is so fast lol.
quick, quicker and quickest!! ! dude most excellent combination of ideas and engineering,we salute you!!!!!
Build a conveyor belt with large sides that you can load rounds into with a loader or by hand and advance the log rounds toward you. Similar to a manure spreader.
Make it independent of the splitter so it can be moved easily and used or not used.
Come on Andrew, I know you can do it.
Do not leave your hand on the log while not looking at the splitter as you may accidently crush your hand.
still waiting for Eastonmade WP845 with 30" capacity and maybe a box wedge.
you could change the splitter ram auto cycle to a 1 lever operation by putting a steel block on the return lever to move return lever forward with the operation of splitting handle and return cycle will stay forward to return cylinder.
Andrew, I ❤ your enthusiasm when it comes to wood splitters. This was a great video. I enjoy all your videos & hope to see more. Dave D. from Maine.
That's the one thing I didn't like about my builtrite no log cradle it makes a huge difference 😊
Fast machine. Cradle is a must. Ive noticed on other top quality spitters that they have to hold the 36” diameter or bigger round to keep it centred, and even by hold it, it still moves of centre.
Could the beam and push ram be made into a small V so all size wood gets centred ?
Great video. 👋👍🏻
Good point about how
the cradle can save time
when used with autocycle.
Great Video ! These are the best machines on the Market ! the cradle is def the heart of the machine I say that to myself every time I use it . The design is well thought out and second to none , One of the best investments I ever made ,
Thanks tim. Great to hear from you
I really didn't think your products could get any better but once again you outdid your best. Excellent job thank you for sharing.👍
Log cradle and auto cycle, love it. Thanks for a great machine.
Bulletproof splitter!!!😊
Never seen u wear shorts 11:28 before
I'd classify the cradles more of a safety feature, rather than a creature comfort. keeping your wiggly bits out of the danger zone is always a good thing.
F'ing hot out here. 😂😂
Looking great up there Andrew, what a production splitter that is. Awesome job for sure. Thanks for sharing, stay safe and keep up the great videos. Fred.
AWESOME 👌
Impressive!
I would still love to see y’all build a hopper to feed the 37d.
Or a hopper feeder to feed any machine .
@@AllenFamilyFirewood agreed. But I’m looking to purchase a 37d in the near future. My wife and I are retiring in a couple of years and moving to East Tennessee. At 60 years of age now I’m looking for something that will make it as easy on me as possible and a hopper/feeder would be the answer.
I agree Auto cycle is the ticket to speed when splitting. I have a 12-22 and I cannot believe how fast I can process a bush cord of wood. These splitters are awesome.
Wow that's competing with our temps in SE Georgia!! Nice machine!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thank you Andrew for the Axis machine you provided to Buckin Billy Ray. It is being put to good use to help a lot of deserving people. ❤
It's' been 90+ (30+ celsius) degrees in NW Ohio since the weekend and will be into next week on top of high dew points. It's tough at times.
Great feature you guys have had on those machines. It definitely is good for safety and less frustrating moments of a log tumbling off the unit, I'm sure. Stay cool!
Only when you have tried the V log cradle, do you realise how effective it is, incredibly simple yet makes the job of log positioning easy. And it’s made of real metal not tin plate, even having the support arm top lugs coming into the V guides adds to the strength.
Who ever ordered this machine knows for a fact thats its going to work!
I can’t wait to win the lottery to be able to buy one
That is really impressive. Thanks for sharing.
Cutting trees here in North Carolina and yes it’s so very hot .
JUST INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST OF TH BEST!!!!!!!!😍
Love the log cradle
nice job 👍👍
Wow!
