    Thanks you! It looks like in Blender 3.2 you don't need to convert the breakdowns into regular keyframes in order to make another breakdown. I love how Blender is in such robust development!

      No problem :) True in 3.2 that problem got fixed, I was surprised too ^^. I'm currently doing a beginner tutorial and I did seen some changes from the latest version. For sure Blender is always in a constant progression :D

    ❤❤Thanks for the detailed explanation! It did work, but I only got one new interpolated frame between the respective keyframes - What did I do wrong???

    • @tuat555
      @tuat555  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're welcome 😊. Alright it's depends on the method you use to interpolate. If you interpolate with tool, it will create one in-between at the time because it's a manual way, so to have more you will have to repeat the process. But if you go to Grease Pencil menu then Interpolate Sequence by default it will interpolate automatically every 1 frame, a menu should also appear in the left down corner of the viewport where you can change to step from 1 frame to 2 or 3 etc... I'm currently working on a new tutorial where I'm covering that topic cuz I know sometime it's complicate to understand such a thing 😅👍

    Great video man I'm subing to you now and what I want help with is the bucket tool I'm getting trouble when it comes to coloring faster with it

    • @tuat555
      @tuat555  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you man 😊🙏 I really appreciate it! 🤔 ummm the bucket tool, there's a lot of people who are still struggling for coloring. And I admit it's a very broken tool sometimes and you have to tweak a lot to understand it and get into the habit 👌. And since I released this video, Blender added some new options that should facilitate the coloring. My suggestion is to take the bucket tool, at the top of the viewport ☝️you will find a precision option👉 set it on 5. Next, in the advanced tab you will find the STROKE EXTENSION option put it at 0.100 👌 So whenever you start clicking to fill STROKE EXTENSION will virtually extend your strokes to help closing gap. NOTE that gaps can refuse to operate so keep that in mind. Also a tip that I would recommend is to have a certains distance when you start filling. Being too close or to far can affect the quality of fill. Being at an average distance should be perfect 👍. And of course always have your lineart layer above your color layer 😉. Hope it will help you my friend, otherwise I will consider preparing an update video for this ✌️😁. Cheers!

      @@tuat555 Your welcome ;) I'm just trying this out in 'layout' tab. And not getting the same result. Do we have to use 2D animate tab to use Interpolation? I guess it must work in 3d space also?

      It should work both tab 🙂👍. I believe I was in the layout tab for this work. But to use the interpolation feature, you have to select your grease pencil object in the viewport or layer panel (be sure to be in object mode when you select) then switch to draw mode or edit mode. From there in the tool box you should have acces to the interpolation tool. 🙂👌

    what kinds of things as a rule should i remember to seperate into layers? seperate things w/ their own movements/mechanics, and i notice you have 3 diff grease pencil objects, is there anything else?

    • @tuat555
      @tuat555  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In this project just for the character, you can notice that I build him with different layers. Why? Just for safety. To be honest I could animate him with less layers than that. But by isolating each part I got much more control and if a problem occurs it's easy to localize the problem. I think the right things to do is to separate in layers the animated part in order to be as much organized as possible. Yes I haven't told much about the whole project but I did have 3 greasepencil object 1 for the character 1 for the flame of the lighter 1 for burn of the cig. I did that because I put some glow fx on the lighter and the cig. I couldn't do that in 1 greasepencil object otherwise the glow effect will be also on the character and the only way I found to apply the fx properly was to separate in different greasepencil object 🙂. Thank for those questions I hope it's a bit clear 👍

    Hey great tutorial! Even encountered a situation where you go to interpolate, but it tries to interpolate to a completely incorrect selection? Any clues to ensure interpolation always occurs over the correction selection between frames?

    • @tuat555
      @tuat555  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh you're welcome 🙏😊. For your problem I do know what you mean about that problem. It can occur when you to interpolate a second time over the same layer. Cuz when you interpolate first it's do create in-between then if you add details and want to re interpolate it may confuse the whole process. My safety way that I would suggest you is to create a new layer to interpolate the selection separately. And at the end you can merge the layers into one if needed 😃👍. I hope it will help 🙂

      Cheers :) !!! Oh its probably because you are in viewport shading solid mode. So in this mode you colors appears B&W . To change it check at top right corner of the viewport you must have 4 icons look like a sphere . You have the wire mode, the solid mode, the material preview and the render preview. Select material preview so you will see colors ^^ . Render preview does display colors as well. Hope it helps 👍 cheers!!!
