Wow. You could have used high-density/low-density side by side (Like you did office/commercial) to fill all the squares without the risk of getting 2x2's and 1x2's.
Lovely build! I've been using 1x1 buildings in certains districts in my city where i wanted the place to look more dense, they sometime look much better than the big buildings.

How do you do the camera transitions? Do you really build that far out and just not move the camera at all? Or do you have something that renders two viewports and you record the second viewport?
I do really build that far out without moving the camera, then for the whooshy bits I'm using Cinematic Camera Extended. But don't tell anyone - trade secret. ; )
You should've left the original Square One and just make a new save because the city in first Sqaure One looked so good to the point I'd like to have it in my game or at least have it for nostalgia 😭

Oh Toadie, so sorry I missed that stream. Residential and industrial buildings that are 1 deep are only ever 1 wide, so you didn't have to zone individual squares. You could have zoned the entire side of the street except the corners where a 1x2, 1x3, or 1x4 could grow in. Commercial has some 2x1s so you have to do some extra clicking there. I forget about office at the moment but think 1 deep buildings are only 1 wide. I felt so bad for your wrist and index finger watching you zone one square at a time. Where's the link for the GoFundMe for the new mouse? 🤣 And you better go grab Toaditopia from the recycle bin!!!!
That's really useful information for anyone doing 1x1 zoning, either in part or whole of their city. I have whole districts this would have helped me speed up development of, and will speed up in the future ones, in my current city.

Oh Toadie, so sorry I missed that stream. Residential and industrial buildings that are 1 deep are only ever 1 wide, so you didn't have to zone individual squares.
