The MELLS system of the Bundeswehr is the second best anti-tank guided missile in the world. Nice !
But it is also more advanced than Javelin. And it could be used very effectively against the Islamic State with the KSK in Operation Counter Daesh.

How there ended up ATGM with 200-600 METERS of effective range and only one with actual separated launcher and operator for remote launch... Is a riddle of milenia for me.

The US military has acquired the Spike NLOS and I expect that FGM-148H on down will try to mirror the NLOS capabiltiies or buy more of them
Considering that Israel makes 8 pack launcher that can be carried internally by the MV-22s
They may buy more NLOS

If it is a joke then it has been a very deadly one for the Russian tanks and other armoured vehicles (Literally thousands destroyed) and it is known by Ukrainian troops as "St. Javelin".

@@Naum96 Ask to Mariupol defenders or Avdiizka armed with Javelin..they failed to stop Russian tanks However Russian forces with Kornet thwarted the Ukrainian offensive in Zaporizhia and Kursk ( where the main target was the nuclear facilities), also Hezbollah thwarted the Israeli offensive towards Beirut in 2006 and 2024 using Kornet and Almas ATGM.

A Javelin only weights 52lbs
which one is easier to get from A to B
The Javelin is fire and forget while only the Korent EM

@@verdebusterAP Kornet has stopped Ukrainian offensive in Zaporizhia, also Israeli offensive towards Beirut 2006 and 2024...Javelin failed to stop Russian tanks in Mariupol and in other cities in Donbass.
