This has been playing for the past 90 mins on WPKN 89.5 Bridgeport, CT and has Shazam (which I just noticed is now called ‘Encore’) completely stumped, so I went to the station’s website because I needed to know what it was. I’m impressed.
I honestly always expect to be disappointed whenever i listen to a remix of this tune since the original is close to perfection. This remix though.... Holy shit on a stick!! Absolutely pure awesomeness. I loved it from start to finish.

I am a fan. Luke is so creative. I like really everythong. This ninjs track of my childhood is outstanding for me. Nostalgy brought to 2020 with this fantastic modernisation. Timeless atmosphere. I am adicted to this track.

@@JanVaran If you're talking about "Ninja Remix", the soundtrack is crap compared to the original games. I still like it though, but my point is still valid. Ninja Remix failed in every way. It looked worse (Head-up display) and the music was no match, compared to the original soundtrack. Reyn Ouwehand and Anthony Lees still made good music, don't get me wrong here. Last Ninja Remix on the amiga (Jochen Hippel), had better music, but the original games had THE BEST music, ever made on a c64. Ben Daglish and Anthony Lees did a flawless job "the last ninja" Matt Gray did a flawless job with the sequel "the last ninja 2".
This works awesome because it has been kept as near the original as possible on what was already the best game and music racks of all time! imho. well done
That tune is a masterpiece of c64-SID-Composition. Hearing this remix, which captures the spirit fo the original in such a terrific, wonderful way, is, pardon my uncouth language, a magnificient "eargasm" ;)
How many central park remixes are out there? I have lost count. It doesn't matter. There can't be never too much. The last ninja 2 was the absolute peak of C64 brilliance and the last ninja trilogy is the reason why I still own C64. Original Cassette versions of course, because you get loading musics and game over only restarts the same level.

Umm, this is a remix. All the themes and stuff are not original. Pretty much anyone with a DAW and some lessons can make this.
