Thank you Josh. I got the GT-1 as a gift this Christmas .. frankly it punches way above its weight in terms of effects quality. The only thing that doesn't match the quality of its competition is the Cab. The Pre-Amps are good .. but the cab sucks. Would love to see a demo using GT-1 preamp with Tone-X cab (if that's possible, not sure). Thanks again and Happy New Year!
Hi Josh great video. I also have the gt1 and just got the pod go on Xmas eve. I have used the gt-1 live for a couple of years and was alway happy with it but gas took over and now I'm trying to dial in the pod for a gig on new years. Any advice on keeping my patch levels even? Btw, I'm over to the west of Waterloo.
Etobicoke here! Patch levels...definitely not easy to keep them all unity. What I do is run them all through Logic Pro and see how they peak on the channel strip meter. Then I try to get them all peaking at the same channel level as best as possible. This method should work with any recording software. Is it the best method? Can't say but it works for me for the most part.

I’ll have to investigate if you can disable the output cabs on the GT1…and what cab only options there are on the Tonex One
