Hello Josh I have a Pod Go - and a Laney LFR 112 and have tried all your presets - they sound far too harsh in the highs even though I have a low cut and a high cut in the Globel EQ - they don't sound very good through an EV PA either. The first thing I change with your presets is the microphone itself, then it's not always better. No idea why. Compared to my other presets, they don't sound like a real amp - even through the EV PA the result is the same. They may sound good to you through your studio monitors - no idea why they don't sound so good to me. Greetings from Germany Gerd

Josh - The Fender Tone Master FR is legit! I've used it with both the HX Stomp and the PodGo. Was solid in a small bar environment. Keep the vids coming!

That’s a bummer. How about replacing your frfr with the fender fr12? It’s lighter and looks like an hrd.

How is that with a loud drummer? and a 5-piece band? other band members have your sound thru' their monitors? I assumed a FOH PA presents the whole band sound.

The Helix Floor is the way to go...every IO you can ever need and multiple FX loops...the LT is great for the money yes ....but it's a night and day difference from one to another trust me.. 💯

Excellent setup Josh. I’m definitely gonna have some type of digital thing like this some day. Well, technically I already do cause I’ve had a Pod 2.0 forever but never found it that great when jamming/playing live but it was cool to have a bunch of different amps. Problem is there’s soo many choices these days it seems. Now there’s even open source options (Neural Amp Modeler). Tried out a Quilter amp/pedal. Highly impressive. Cheers! ✌️

Great, informative content, thanks for posting. Yeah my take is there's a bunch of empty space after the Pod Express which is the one I went with. The new interface makes all the difference, to me this unit is a total steal now that it's so user-friendly.

My main deal breaker with xvive is the non-replaceable battery. Once the battery in the transmitter dies, one either buys a replacement system or at least a new transmitter. So, my question is, are the batteries replaceable in this new system? If not, why would I want it?

Cool video. I have tried a number of wireless systems in the $100 - $600 range and they all have the same issues: loss of gain and loss of tone when compared to using a cord. As a high gain player, the best way I can describe it is that these systems "sterilize" my guitar sound no matter how much tweaking I tried with whatever was available for the wireless unit. Using a high gain setup (amp or patch), how do you think the Xvive compares to a cord in those respects? Please be honest.

Hey Josh why would someone switch presets with the RS vs just using the Pod go. What’s the advantage?

I just discovered that when I plugged in my triple Digitech FS3X footswitch and set FS7/8 switching to Preset, the third button actually does something too! It switches to Snapshot mode!

Will products from reputable musical equipment manufacturers work for their intended purpose? Probably.

I would definitely buy the POD Express Bass IF the octave effect allowed for UP octaive as an option.

POD express is perfect for me, and I am loving your channel (oh, Canada too?) but I am trying to figure out the best extra control options. I bought an expression pedal that plugs in and works well and I already had a volume pedal for the output to the amp. Two questions: Can the expression pedal control any other effects and if I get the dual foot switch (Rockstar $10 more in Canada than the Ampero) can I just use one switch with the Expression Pedal or do I need a single switch for that? thank you.

I got a pod go, but I am thinking of the getting the Pod Express for earphone practice, because it is so small.

I never understood why the chorus is put after an amp. I mean if I had a real chorus pedal I would plug my guitar into it, and it would go straight to either the effects loop or just plugged in the front. In fact with my old laney amp it was always plugged in the front as it didn't have any effects loop.

Please help. I accidentally applied the downloaded live set with around 10-11 patches. And now my u01 to u10 patches are overwritten with new live set. Are the old ones now deleted forever?

This is clearly the best amp in the pedal. It seems like they have done something different with this model. It sounds like it has more dynamic range and clarity, maybe it uses more dsp than the other models or Line6 have learned how to squeeze something extra out of it somehow. All the options on this thing gives it the ability to go from blues to classic rock and a lot more. It has that warble that I dont hear from any other model. I use the 1x12 open cast cabinet through my power cab, and the tone is just sublime. I would love to hear a real Grammitico, but I dont want to spend 4-5k to find out. Crazy how good this model is.

Hi Josh. Thanks for your informative videos. I´m interested in knowing more about stomp mode. As you surgested I´ll use an external canal switch so I´ll be able to have 6 presets But how about FS 7 and 8? Is it possible to luck the one EXP to volume - and have one or two extra effect presets? Could you please make a tutorial for a live pop/rock stumpmode setup? Could you for instance have a boost on the clean chanel and use that boost for the crunch and the solo as well? Have you looked into Pedalnetics? They make something they call the Auxplate, and the Auxplate XL that turn the Pod Express (and an expression pedal in the case of the XL) into a single unit, while keeping the battery door accessible. Something like that'd be perfect for this kind of rig you're putting together.

Have you tried running an acoustic through the ME80? I am curious if it would work well.....?

Hey Josh sounds great ! I’m going to use the Express for live as well a Strymon DIG V2 into a 20 watt Marshall clone into the Effects Return with the Cab Sim off ! And it sounds fantastic 👍

My dry signal is much weaker in comparison to yours, any idea what might be causing this? I've gone over my settings 100 times and tried all the different usb ports in my laptop with no change
