Hi, hello from mainland China. I've just been following your videos since this year. I can notice how much progress Izzy has made and how much love and effort you have been putting into her. I really want to thank you for saving her entire life from her birthplace. She may not even know how did her life change since then. But I believe she can feel it. Anyway, to those people who are saying some negative things, or I'd rather call them "Internet trolls", I just wanna tell you that you have no idea of what a child is really like to be neglected, you have no idea of how many children are being neglected in China. You don't know anything but you just simply judge Izzy is being neglected, who actually lives with lots of love and care? That is really ridiculous and unreasonable. Please save your word and go to search to see the truths and stories about the children who are abandoned in China, who are left by their parents, and who are just living with their grandparents without a good education and clean living conditions. That is what being neglected is truly like. ( please excuse my grammar mistakes cause my first language is Chinese.)

I am so touched by what you’ve done to Izzy. The world has so many children who need family, food, love, patience, and caring. It is easy to watch and comment how others doing it, but it is important and hard to really help those in need. You will never know what it takes to take care a special need child and how much you need to sacrifice. You and your family are just so loving!
This sweet baby has made so much progress it is amazing! I love to see how happy she is but is also secure enough in her life to show her likes as well as her dislikes! This takes security on her part and is truly amazing for Isabelle and is truly a testimony to being in a loving and caring home!!

Spot on when you said those of us that have followed you for a while are going to say, What?!? when hearing the comment that someone put about Izzy being neglected. I sure did. You guys are one of a few families that share the good, the bad and the ugly with all of us. We've joined you on adoptions, on health difficulties with you and Stan and so on. Thank you for sharing your family with us, even those tiny little glimpses each week. You are always encouraging and I learn something each week. And for that I am grateful.
I dont see any neglect, you clearly love this child. There are always going to be bullies on TH-cam and it is ridiculous! Sometimes I argue back but I try to ignore and scroll past the hate but it's hard. Just keep doing what you are doing

I’ve followed your progress with Izzy from the time you adopted her and she is doing amazing! Mika is a little doll too! Your life is really challenging taking care of your family and these two special needs little girls but there is no doubt, they are very loved and well taken care of! It can’t be easy and to take this on when you didn’t have to, amazes me! You have certainly earned all of my respect for what you do for these girls!

Some people just dont get it, isabel came with pre existing trauma and neglect on top of blindness and physical and mental challenges. You all are amazing and the work you put in, the help and support you give her is providing her with the best possible chance to be the best isabel that she can be.. stay strong, stay blessed, stay true to yourself. Before my health declined, I had a career caring for special needs children and adults. I loved my work but found it exhausting. You do it night and day! You give to the world your love and care, making a difference with every child you take into your home and hearts. Only the ignorant of the situations and those who cannot see your love, or who delight in tormenting others for the response they get, would do other than praise you. I am not a religious person, but I am spiritual. I can see and feel your convictions and love in my heart and spirit. I admire you both for it! Keep making a difference. Anyone who's worked with kids before that require many different therapies in order to develop properly will see the work and the love you put into this little girl. The fact that she was so low tone when you first got her and now shes walking is amazing!
Isabelle and Myka are absolutely precious. Watching Isabelle in therapy brought tears to my eyes, she is simply amazing. The joy on Myka's face is undeniable, she lights up any room. I would give anything to have a therapy facility like that closer to us. Our son is autistic, its more sensory processing and behavior issues for him, but we keep getting referred to ABA therapy for him but the closest place is 4 hours away and thats impossible to do weekly or even bi-weekly right now. SO for now, ill keep learning and doing what we can at home for him. You are an amazing mother, dont let anyone tell you any different. YOU were chosen to be their forever Mama, not me or anyone else..just keep loving them like you do and thank you for letting us follow along...Hugs Mama

The challenges Izzy overcomes each day are astounding. She inspires me to do better watching her fight to thrive. She is just so sweet. I’ve retired from 32+ years of working with blind students as an orientation and mobility specialist. I taught children how to access their environment. I worked closely with teacher of the visually impaired. She would benefit greatly from these services. Your school district will provide home services for Isabel. I know you home school but this is really important for her. These professionals are specifically trained to teach blind and visually impaired children.
Great suggestion! Now that she is more adjusted to her routine and I bet it wouldn't hurt to do something new, and it pertaining to her visual impairment . My mother is visually impaired, she went to a school for the blind and back then they didnt have home Services availability but she didnt like being away from my grandparents.
I can't believe how far she has progressed! The physical therapists working with her are amazing -it really touched my heart when Miss Polly just folded Izzy into her arms for a hug. Keep up the good work, you all! She is a beautiful little girl...

There are some sick people on social media. Just keep in mind their comments say more about them than it does about you or Izzy. There are groups of people who all they do is go to different channels and write crap like that on it. They want to get a reaction and especially an upset reaction. You held your cool on that which is good. :) As we say here "The proof is in the pudding"...meaning what you see is the proof. You all have done a wonderful job with Izzy and with Mika Ella. There are alot of things you that not many people can do. From the day you adopt Mika and Isabelle so much different especially Isabelle.. She put on weight alot. More cheerful and lively. With all these years that I've been reading comments on different channels I've realised that replying to their comments is feeding to their negativity. Okay so can we talk about Izzy being a whole mood during her morning routine. The way she got up on the couch and immediately curled up like "okay I walked and brushed my teeth let me sleep" so darn cute. And for the haters saying she's neglected....ummm what planet are you living on? They are doing an awesome job with her. From when they got her to now she has so much life and personality to her now. She has color in her cheeks and how much she's changed for the better. The love her family has for her is amazing and truly a blessing.

I can’t imagine anyone saying anything negative about how you are caring for these little girls. From what I have watched, you guys are amazing. I myself raised two special needs boys as a single parent, not nearly as severely as your girls but it was very challenging at times. Wow, it’s miraculous the strides Miss Isabelle has made since coming home. I was a little sad for her, seeing her cry with the therapists, yet I know it is good for her and her growth. How wonderful that the therapists remind Sweet Isabelle that God knows and loves her. She and Mika are such sweet and special little girls. Ashley, God placed those girls with a Mama, that He knew was perfect for these lovely little ladies. You are more than enough. It’s obvious that your little girls know that they are loved. 🙏🏻💖✝️💖
While it's sad to see her crying what those negative Nancy's don't seem to be able to grasp is that for children like Izzy every one of those tears and temper tantrums are a vast step forward. This is a child who spent the first years of her life in a crib knowing no love feeling no emotions never mind showing them. What wonderful improvements have taken place in her life in a relevant short period of time. Keep up the good work with both your amazing daughter's and we will keep up the prayer support system
I just came across your channel bc i have a special needs child. He is deaf, has down syndrome, severe autism, diabetes, sen process disorder and he is non verbal. I think you are THE BEST MOM EVER!! Izzy is SO FAR from neglected. She is loved, cherished and cared for in a way that God intended for her life. She is happy and that is what counts.

Before my health declined, I had a career caring for special needs children and adults. I loved my work but found it exhausting. You do it night and day! You give to the world your love and care, making a difference with every child you take into your home and hearts. Only the ignorant of the situations and those who cannot see your love, or who delight in tormenting others for the response they get, would do other than praise you. I am not a religious person, but I am spiritual. I can see and feel your convictions and love in my heart and spirit. I admire you both for it! Keep making a difference. Anyone who's worked with kids before that require many different therapies in order to develop properly will see the work and the love you put into this little girl. The fact that she was so low tone when you first got her and now shes walking is amazing!
Isabelle and Myka are absolutely precious. Watching Isabelle in therapy brought tears to my eyes, she is simply amazing. The joy on Myka's face is undeniable, she lights up any room. I would give anything to have a therapy facility like that closer to us. Our son is autistic, its more sensory processing and behavior issues for him, but we keep getting referred to ABA therapy for him but the closest place is 4 hours away and thats impossible to do weekly or even bi-weekly right now. SO for now, ill keep learning and doing what we can at home for him. You are an amazing mother, dont let anyone tell you any different. YOU were chosen to be their forever Mama, not me or anyone else..just keep loving them like you do and thank you for letting us follow along...Hugs Mama
I saw the video when you collected her. That made me cry. But not now! She is so lucky to have you and your family. So many people would never consider taking on a child with special needs and it puzzles me how people can make negative judgements. For me, kindness is everything and you are kind in bucket loads. The challenges Izzy overcomes each day are astounding. She inspires me to do better watching her fight to thrive. She is just so sweet. I’ve retired from 32+ years of working with blind students as an orientation and mobility specialist. I taught children how to access their environment. I worked closely with teacher of the visually impaired. She would benefit greatly from these services. Your school district will provide home services for Isabel. I know you home school but this is really important for her. These professionals are specifically trained to teach blind and visually impaired children.
Great suggestion! Now that she is more adjusted to her routine and I bet it wouldn't hurt to do something new, and it pertaining to her visual impairment . My mother is visually impaired, she went to a school for the blind and back then they didnt have home Services availability but she didnt like being away from my grandparents.
I can't believe how far she has progressed! The physical therapists working with her are amazing -it really touched my heart when Miss Polly just folded Izzy into her arms for a hug. Keep up the good work, you all! She is a beautiful little girl...

There are some sick people on social media. Just keep in mind their comments say more about them than it does about you or Izzy. There are groups of people who all they do is go to different channels and write crap like that on it. They want to get a reaction and especially an upset reaction. You held your cool on that which is good. :) As we say here "The proof is in the pudding"...meaning what you see is the proof. You all have done a wonderful job with Izzy and with Mika Ella. There are alot of things you that not many people can do. From the day you adopt Mika and Isabelle so much different especially Isabelle.. She put on weight alot. More cheerful and lively. Okay so can we talk about Izzy being a whole mood during her morning routine. The way she got up on the couch and immediately curled up like "okay I walked and brushed my teeth let me sleep" so darn cute.
And for the haters saying she's neglected....ummm what planet are you living on? They are doing an awesome job with her. From when they got her to now she has so much life and personality to her now. She has color in her cheeks and how much she's changed for the better. The love her family has for her is amazing and truly a blessing.

I can’t imagine anyone saying anything negative about how you are caring for these little girls. From what I have watched, you guys are amazing. I myself raised two special needs boys as a single parent, not nearly as severely as your girls but it was very challenging at times. What you said is very true and I will continue to watch your blog because I am so interested and you and your family are awesome! What you guys are doing, is so wonderful, for the children you have rescued, I remember watching izzy's adoption and it was heart breaking to see the sad state she was in, her progress has been incredible, thanks to your continuous efforts. Anyone that tries to put you guys down with negative comments is clearly struggling with their own demons!. All we can do is pray for them, and hope they find peace, and learn to love themselves. 🙏

Wow, it’s miraculous the strides Miss Isabelle has made since coming home. I was a little sad for her, seeing her cry with the therapists, yet I know it is good for her and her growth. How wonderful that the therapists remind Sweet Isabelle that God knows and loves her. She and Mika are such sweet and special little girls. Ashley, God placed those girls with a Mama, that He knew was perfect for these lovely little ladies. You are more than enough. It’s obvious that your little girls know that they are loved. 🙏🏻💖✝️💖
While it's sad to see her crying what those negative Nancy's don't seem to be able to grasp is that for children like Izzy every one of those tears and temper tantrums are a vast step forward. This is a child who spent the first years of her life in a crib knowing no love feeling no emotions never mind showing them. What wonderful improvements have taken place in her life in a relevant short period of time. Keep up the good work with both your amazing daughter's and we will keep up the prayer support system

I just came across your channel bc i have a special needs child. He is deaf, has down syndrome, severe autism, diabetes, sen process disorder and he is non verbal. I think you are THE BEST MOM EVER!! I ADMIRE U DEARLY! U r beautiful, patient, kind, honest, compassionate , REAL. People have no idea. They are uneducated and stupid. I try to pray for them so they can get educated on our children. They are plain stupid. You are absolutely FABULOUS!
