- Hi everyone! I am an in home child care provider and mom to a preschooler, toddler, and newborn. I began a home daycare in 2018 four months after the birth of our second child, as a way to be able to stay home with my kids while still helping our family out financially. Since then, we have moved to two new houses and my home daycare has traveled with us each time! I love teaching young children, being my own boss, and watching my kids get to socialize and learn with lots of friends. Life is never dull 🤣 Subscribe to follow our journey, we'd love to have you!

Omg 😱 you did this girl. It takes a special person to take care of others children.
aww thank you!
Never paid enough either! It’s hard work, always appreciative of teachers and daycare workers.
Hi Mariah,
Thanks for sharing your life with all of us! I can tell you really love the children! I have your tshirt that says "Relax".....I wore mine during cancer treatment. It is wonderful to see you wear it while to you care for your own babies and other children as well. God bless you!
It it a busy job for sure but so rewarding ❤️would love to see another DITL
It definitely is!! I'll do more DITL vids!
This is wonderful. You gave me an idea on what I can do in the future.
Glad it was helpful to you Maria!!
Qué lindo trabajo. Gracias por subirlo. Increíble tienes dos mascotas un perrito y un gatito. Felicidades.
Thanks I open my in home Daycare in October this was great
I am starting mine in 2 wks
@@brennadawn6501 how’s it Going so far? I’m opening in 30 days need advice
I want to start home day care so do I need license for 4 kids ?
It's up to you. I am in OH and I am licensed because I want to be able to accept parents who have childcare vouchers. And since I have a 2 yr old I can old watch 5 more kids so 6 in total and they all can't like newborn lol @@shreenathjibhajanandkirtan4785
I work at a daycare and i get to feeling on edge waiting for kids to wake up early before others. With crying.
When you feel like that just remind yourself it's pointless to be on edge. There is no day the same as the other. Attend to the kids and remind them shhhh it's nap time and they'll get used to it. Some will cry. When they see that no matter if he or she cries its still nap time everyday and they are safe warm and comfy. 😁😁
On 10:33 where did you get that wooded play house ?
I enjoyed your video! It showed the details of our busy lives. Hard work but lots of love with it
Loved watching this! You should definitely do more videos like this!
Where did u get those kid sized picnic tables from?
I just found you! New subscriber here. Yes please more videos like this one
Finally a home daycare that's not set up like a center. This set up I can relate to but some of the home daycares look like huge centers and so much stuff and nothing homy or cozy which defeats the whole purpose. 😊
Love your toliet seat cover where did ypu get it?
Don’t mean to get off topic but I love your betta fish set up it’s big and nice and your betta fish looks happy
He definitely is! He gets a 10 gal all to himself! He's still doing great ☺️
@@mariahdeloera7130 oh my gosh I am so glad you did your research bettas need at least 5-10 gallons of water I am very proud of you
New subscriber here! So glad I came across this video. I love seeing current experiences of providers as I prepare to open my home based program. I am a former provider as well but it's been a few years journey to get back to it in a new home. Plus Pandemic challenges. Thank you or sharing!!
(I have to point out at 10:09 when you are reading a story I noticed the bulletin board behind you appears to have push pins. Please know most providers and schools have removed them from early age settings due to the swallowing hazzard of choking and even death. Most states have banned them as a licensing standard as well. It's always best to follow those safety guidelines even if unlicensed. I would feel guilty if I didnt share that with you as someone had previously shared with me too. It takes a village ♡).
Thank you again for sharing your journey!! Looking forward to viewing more content and all the wonderful ideas to come. Most kindly, Cindy
Thanks for subscribing! I can't believe my licensor never said anything about the bulletin boards. I even had multiple inspections that I requested prior to licensure to make sure everything was up to standard. My front area even has bulletin boards with push pins that the licensor always inspects carefully because that is where I have to post some required forms!! I'll replace them with sticky tac or something. Thank you!
@@mariahdeloera7130 completely understand! And I'm not sure which state you are in but maybe that hasn't become policy just yet. We can do better when we know better. That is how I learned too. I had them in my former prek classroom when our director came through and removed them. They had been put on notice by licensing after an incident occurred in Indiana. Thankfully we have these platforms now and can help each other.
Thank you for taking my feedback in such a positive way ♡♡ best wishes!
Can you do a tour how you have set. Where is your daycare
hi! i’m 11 and i’m hoping to have this job when i’m older! thanks for this video it’s very fun to watch
Hi, I'm also 11, I already most weekends invite the neighbourhood kids over to play and learn. I currently have one 6 year old and 2 seven year olds. I would like to have younger kids but I don't have any at the moment. 😃
I'm not Matthew by the way, I'm his daughter, Lilia. :)
very nice and simple
I'm starting to dream and think about possibly having my own home daycare. Could you make a vid talking about the business side of things? Are you licensed? Are you an LLC? 💜💜
Where did you get the sippy cups from at 2:30?
They are Walmart Parent Choice brand cups. Only $1 each
Your an inspiration. It’s a credit to you
Belinda Binns thank you, Belinda!
I also have an in home daycare. Where did you get the obstacle course from?
It is from amazon!
What do you do with the babies when you’re busy with the bigger kids?
How did you decide what to charge?
I would love to be a home daycare provider! If I didn’t do that I want to be a pediatric respiratory therapist, or an early education teacher.
where did you get your white shelves and tables?
white shelves are the besta line from ikea and the tables are the lifetime tables from Amazon
What brand of picnic tables you do have? Lifetime?
Yes they are lifetime tables!
Great video and explanation!
Thank you!
Where do you get the little obstacle course from?
I just read a comment asking the same thing, and she said from amazon.
You are a super mom!
Hi! I love the way you handle your day care and how you’re able to multitask with your own baby. I do have a question though, are you licensed to have your own daycare or are you doing everything on your own??
I have been both licensed and legally unlicensed so I have experience in both areas:)
@@mariahdeloera7130 Okay, because I was thinking about starting one on my own soon. I have been nannying for 3+ years in hopes of one day starting my own in home day care in the future. I’m CPR certified as well but was wondering if I could do it without going through the licensing process and if it’d be less stressful doing it that way?
love your video! in my daycare the day it's a little more chaotic and noisy lol.. :)
I don't know how you can do all this work alone in LA we need an assistant if you have for than 4 infant
Is it allowed to caring 8 kids with only one adult?
Yep. Each state has different rules though so make sure you know your own state rules if you’re looking to do daycare.
Do you no longer have your at home daycare?
I do, currently on maternity leave with baby #4 though :)
@@mariahdeloera7130 yaaaay how exciting!!! Congratulations 🎊 I've been binge watching your videos looking forward to more uploads and meeting baby #4 #newsubbie
Runaway gingerbread man🤩🤩🤩‼️
i started babysitting, and one kid is sometimes too much for me , dont know how you handle 8, one strong mama!
Thanks for showing your day
I know it's quite late....
But why don't you eat while the kids eat?
I have my own daycare and I always sit down with the kids and eat while their eating... sometimes it's difficult but still normally that works for me...
I eat during nap time. I really like reading to the kids and I find the best time to do it is when they are all eating. Or else its just a disaster trying to read to them lol. Not to say I don't ever eat with them though. Not every day is the exact same :)
Man I wish I could have a daycare but owning my own house is the first part which seems like a far away dream 😢
How are you doing? I believe in you!
@@Madi_P-M thanks 🙏🏽 I appreciate that
@@Madi_P-M I’m doing alright thanks
@@Brandonrouthsniece94 you’re welcome! I know that right now times are tough, I would recommend you to the channel “Ashley R.” She’s a provider that’s in an apartment. If you truly want one, maybe you could find a way for it to work in your apartment.
@@Madi_P-M thanks very much I’ll take a look at her page
I'm in Pampers size 6 can I join the daycare lmao
Hahaha 😀
You’re super women!
Good job, Mama!
Thank you!
