Love your content as always! Althugh technically true, I don't know why "procrastinate" always comes with a negative feel to it. In this case, postponing tasks to focus more important ones is healthy in projects. Efficiency and productivity is more important than perfection.
One of the code bases I worked on for a past job someone signed their comments, years after they left the comments basically became a flag that we were about to see some real funky shit. Be careful signing comments in shared codebases if you're not ok building a reputation that will last long after you're gone ahahaha.
Not sure if it's going to work, I'll try it later to confirm. But CTRL+P to open the command palette in VSCode, be sure it has the ">" and type reload window, the full option is called "Developer: Reload Window" select that, I believe it should update everything.
Rider has sweet setup for todos. I like the feature where it will ask for confirmation when committing code with todo tags. Is there something like this for vs code?

I'll do this later
Honestly, I'm surprised something like Todo Tree isn't built in - Visual Studio proper has had it as part of the Task List for the past decade.
Yeah agreed. Although I can also understand why they would like to keep it smaller and modular instead of building in everything and the kitchen sink.
Lol, am I seeing the GameDevTV Godot 2.5d RPG code being utilised here?

great video, but not putting space after double slash in comments is a crime lol
I like doing it just with TODO, it makes you want to get rid of it more
@@slowbro13215 that's... actually really smart
I prefer Better Comments extension for highlighting
Small faster VS Code restart hack:
1. CTRL+P
2. Type "> Developer: Reload Window" (mind the angle bracket)
Visual Studio is always there
No matter if u are a coder or not
no need for restart there is refresh icon there 4:20
Doesn't work. At least for me, it didnt do anything.
Michael J. Fox showed up to tell me to fix my code. What did i do wrong?
added video to watch later 🤓
no actually i did
edit: im watching it now lol... 2 weeks later 😆
Cool
This is a gimme with emacs.
Emacs has also been in development longer than I've been in existence
