My son is 17 months old and has been sick since he's started daycare at 6 weeks old. He has strong family history on both sides. Pediatrician says he shouldn't take antihistamine before age 2. We are seeing allergist today.
My kid developed environmental allergies 1 year after moving to Texas from Washington. Daily Zyrtec does not seem to work at all. I tried Xyzal, Clariting as well.
Both of my boys and myself all have eczema. I have a new allergy to yellow dye/tartrazine that (before the allergy discovery) caused nonstop flares and finally led to anaphylactic reactions. I have noticed, that if my boys avoid yellow dye like me, their skin improves and my oldest sons acne goes away. It is a horrible allergy to have, and I would love to see a day where they use alternatives such as beta-carotene, but I feel it would be detrimental to the dermatology profession.
Aw I'm so sorry it affects you and your boys so severely. Food allergies are so challenging! Glad you recognized what was triggering your eczema though, it can be so hard to figure out triggers sometimes
Yup poor kiddos- mom and dad both have horrible allergies, and mom has asthma. I have 2 kids so far (#3 is a newborn) who have allergies, one with eczema and one with asthma 🙃

snacks like doritos, chittos and all that crap ...etc are highly linked to cancer, BE AWARE!!
