Machado and Arenado have proven it time and time again, Riley has only been on the scene 2 years. His time is coming! World Series champ already more to come
Would definitely look to see Austin Riley approach the Nolan Arenado skill level if he can improve upon his glove and be consistent down the stretch with the bat..was ice cold finishing the year definitely could pass José ramirez if he can keep the power, average, and glove up. Definitely the Braves franchise cornerstone and captain.
Yeah, he was at the top of the MVP discussion before he hit that terrible stretch. Still finished hitting over 270 with 38 bombs and almost 100 Ribbies. Imagine what his numbers would've been if he was just average over that stretch.
Riley is ALMOST there with Ramirez, Machado, and Arenado. He's clearly the fourth best third baseman, fifth and so on aren't even close to these four, while Riley is just a level below the top three. He needs to add something else to his game. Ramirez is a great hitter but also amazing on base, while Machado and Arenado are two of the best defensively at that position. Riley is just as good a hitter as those three but he's average to above average at everything else. He's not fast but he's also not slow so maybe he could get better on the bases, or he could improve his glove. He does have Ron Washington on his coaching staff and if anyone could make an average defender into an elite one it's Wash. But man, he SO CLOSE to them I can feel it.
Riley and Olson's back to back homerun against DeGrom was really memorable.
Criminally underrated because he’s always had Machado and Arenado getting all the attention. Riley is such a fun player to watch
exactly
He's much younger, though,. It'll be his spotlight soon enough. Perennial MVP type talent.

@@doc8013 he’s already been in the races 2x
@@joshwilson07 austin riley’s been in the leauge for 4 but didn’t play 3rd his rookie year cuz of JD
I love that y’all aren’t just showing home runs. Base hits baby
Definitely a top third baseman. His numbers the past two years have been really impressive, not to mention his defense🔥🔥
His defense isn't great, if he improved that he'd probably be the best 3b in the league
@@briandavis660 he did improve it lol. Bro is a vacuum
@@savionsmith5767 He is not a good defender at third lol
@@briandavis660his defense definitely improved from 2021-22
@@briandavis660 his defense is good Wym lmao
Always knew he had power but the way he went from HR or strikeout to the hitter he has been the last two years has been awesome to watch.
Watching Riley's home run just literally gives me the smile
Acuña's slide was pretty awesome too
love my boy austin gettin some love
A FUTURE HOFAMER IN THE MAKING!
Riley continues to Prove his Worth as a Brave, and HE GOT PAID!
Great job by the Braves coaching staff to get him to his full potential.
His July was just incredible. One of the best months I’ve ever watched a player have.
Austin is a beast and going to produce for atlanta for years to come no doubt ...love this man

@@therealcherry oh for sure. I think he can get close to 50 in the future.
personally i think d'Arnaud is the captain but yeah this guy's a franchise player
Dude hit above .300 in 2021 and his defense is criminally underrated by people who don't watch him
Top 3 3rd baseman
Hmmm. Young and Thicc. Looks like a beast has settled into 3rd for the Braves. Thank you, Jomboy, for the scouting report.
So underrated man
Don't mind seeing some defensive plays
College Basketball will get me through winter but I'm by far ready for Baseball season to return !
He’s gonna win a mvp eventually
I'm glad AA went out of his way to declare this man a Brave for life

captain of the braves now!
Who's better this guy or witt jr?
Mvp this year
Reminds me of Troy Glaus
That's a good comp.
Two people I dont want to see in the playoffs as an Astros fan Austin Riley & jaun Soto
What was up against Philly tho
Yeah, he stunk it up at the end of last year. He's gotta do better
I'd still take Machado or Arenado any day over this Riley.
yeah, but he's still pretty good
Un saludo para todos Dios los bendiga y feliz Año Nuevo 🎉❤
I love Riley😆
Whvb?
Can't hit slider at all
He was non existent in the playoffs
Our whole squad was non existent in the playoffs. Why do you think we got completely dismantled by the Phillies.
