I just searched Amazon for “swirl ornament hooks” and tons of them popped right up in a variety of swirl shapes. I’d post the link here but it would probably delete my comments. So search away!!
PS: A lot of them are made by none other than the famous Kurt Adler Company!! 🤩
I have a wide glass container in a metal stand that I put dollar store 20 strand clear lights interspersed with small Pinecones that I leave on my kitchen counter all year.
Years ago, Michaels sold the small cinnamon scented pine cones in a package.
At Christmas time I would use those in with the lights which threw off the scent throughout my
house. At first it was a bit much, but after a little while it was really nice.
I love the Santa and reindeer!!! So cute!!!
made these for my sewing class and they dearly loved these. I glittered the bottom half and place ribbon in center and then ribbon around top with hanger. So So cute. Thank you for the idea. I also used old Christmas lights I already had so really affordable.
Loved the friendship bulbs! My favorite! Thanks for sharing!
I think turning a bulb into Santa was my favorite. I agree that I would only do crafts with these necklaces when they were already burned out. But great ideas for them.
The Santa and reindeer ornaments are adorable! My favorites! 🎅🏻🌲
Really cute ideas, love your videos. The one that is my favorite are the lights painted silver and put in a dough bowl for your table . Simple but elegant. Tfs. God Bless.
I love the different ideas using Christmas lights. You could make fun earrings with them, too.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that idea!
Everything was cute!!
That's a very clever idea. I would've never thought about that. You're smart. ---Amelia Storms
Icing for gingerbread houses is like cement. I build houses for our members at my country club. Some years, 80 to 100 houses. Add the water carefully; dependent on humidity. 3 Tablespoons Meringue Powder, 1 # 10 X Powdered Sugar, 8 to 12 Tablespoons Water. Put in mixer , and add water carefully. You want it to slowly fall off paddle. If too runny add a little more sugar. It is fool proof.
The meringue powder is crucial!
I love all of these. My favorite is the friend bulbs. Thank you for sharing. God Bless.
You always come up with some of the best crafts, Shannon. I could sit and think all year and not come up with one idea. Thank God for people like you who, not only have great ideas, but also share them with us 💕
Amazing, thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I loved all of them!❤🎅
I love all of your projects today but the garland is my favorite!🎄
Yay! Thank you!
So cute! I LOVE the big fat bulbs! They have “personality”!!!!!! Thank you for sharing!
I loved the garland you did last as my favorite!
Yay! Thank you!
Loved all of them.
I love them all!
Love these. Totally making that burlap and lights wreath. I only have flat wood cut outs -no necklace- but I think it will work
I love all your decor. Thanks for your tips too. The friendship light is sweet. Maybe next year.
I love all of these, they are so cute but my favorite one is the silver lights in the dough bowl. Just gorgeous.
These are so creative and look like fun. 👍 ❤😊
Love the friendship light!
Thanks!
They are so fun. I liked them all. I loved the old garland in the old kitchen. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like all of these ideas. The garland is my favorite.
Thanks!

The Santa bulb was my fave! He turned out really awesome!
You amazed me with true inspiration to try something new with light bulbs. You're creativity is pure genius. Thanks for the tips.--Amelia
Such fun ideas, Shannon!
What a great way to use them when they're spent!
Hey Shannon, super cute video with lights. They’re all nice ideas. I think the garland is my favorite. Nice touch. Tfs. God Bless.
Thank you so much for the free printable. Love it!
You are so welcome!
The Santa light bulb is my favorite!!!❤❤❤
Place fairy lights inside each bulb and they will light up. Have to make them light up when you are saying light of friendship.great ideas.
You are definitely make crafting so much fun tfs
Very cute ideas!
Great ideas here!!
That trivet looks like the stuff I make!
I got eight of them for christmas eve when our family gets together. I bought them at a liquidation store for 5 dollars. 😉
You're so crafty!
They are super cute. I might have some of them if so I’ll be making some. Thank you for sharing have a great day ☃️
They sell these black little rubber washers that come in a pack at Home Depot that would fit perfect at the top of these ornaments and help keep the ornament hangers inside and cover the glue.
I liked the vase. You could also use the colored version of the lights for this.
Oh wow thank you 😊
You are so welcome
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 all of the craft ideas
Great ideas, the Santa you made out of the light bulb was just wonderful
Thanks so much 😊
So so beautiful ❤💚🌈🦋
Wish we had a Dollar Tree in the UK. Can't help thinking that you could have bent the hooks again so that they didn't pop out of the top of the light, rather than hot glue... I guess it stops them from jiggling about though. I have a hot glue gun, I think I'm just scared to use it 😆❤
Use it on a cutting board or put it on an old plate for safely. Don’t be afraid, be careful! Love from Florida!!! ❤❤🎄🎅🌴
Loved them all but the 2018 garland was my favourite 🤗❤🏴
Cute designs Blessings 😊🙏
I believe you could stick the small curved end of the hook into the bulb. You may have to squeeze the wire a bit.
Really cute ideas 😊
All so cute Santa with the puffy hot glue is so cute, not a silver fan, but the vase with the
twinkle light's and pine cones is a great idea, and I loved your last one of the garland idea,
Thank you so much for sharing all these great ideas with you, have a great week.
Cute ideas
Great ideas love the look back
Loved the Christmas Lights to use for individual names
Going to use that for my office tree
Super cute! ♥️
Love the santa with the white glue sticks. Adorable!
& the friends bulbs 🥰
TFS Shannon ♥️.
Awesome ideas Shannon, but you always do have such great ideas. I love watching both your channels and I always get inspiration from them. Your creations are always beautiful, fun and most are easy for all of us to do. TFS.
That Apple commercial is so sweet. Cute crafts as always. HUGS 🙏☺🤶🎅⛄
So many cute ideas. I think you could use 2 decorative hooks going in opposite directions for the Reindeer antlers instead of pipe cleaners. 🎄 Merry Christmas
These were so cute TFS ❤❤❤
I’ve seen a LOT of rub & buff being used this year, I definitely need to get me some. It’s covers so nicely and looks fantastic!!
It would be perfect for Tin Man make up too! 😂
Make sure it isn’t toxic before putting it on live people. The real Tin Man suffered lifelong damage for that role, due to the makeup!
All cute. No favs! Ty4s and the printables Shannon!👍😘🎄🎅⛄️🔔❄️☃️
Wonder hacks!!! I like all of them. I'm going to use some of those. Thank you Liz🎉❤🎉
Beautiful
I liked the last one.
I love this style light!! 💬 3:44 For the 1st diy… if you bend the ornament hanger wire into a “V” shape at the bottom-> make the top of the V SLIGHTLY wider then your hole-> then push she V down thru the hole. The wire will squish to go thru the hole but spring back out once inside the light. You can add some hot glue afterwards for additional support.
Just a thought. I think a small set jewelry tools can be very helpful to keep in our arsenal!! Just a 3/4 piece works.
CHAIN NOSE pliers: GET 2!! you will thank me later 😅 flat pliers {JEWELRY size- not reg tool size},
ROUND NOSE pliers: tips look like cones (for making loops, rounded things)
FLUSH CUTTER: cuts off flat and VERY close on one side
- with coupon codes at Michael’s or hobby lobby you can get a set for under $10
Love. It so many pretty projects ❤️❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍
Nice! I like the reindeer most. It would be fun to try to make a few reindeer & maybe snowmen faces & reattach to the strand to allow for having them light up - I got the impression that it’s potentially doable (other than the strand that wasn’t working of course)?
Question, do you use different glue guns for each color, or does it clean out easy?
Good question!
Hi, Shannon!! Love the reindeer light and the friendship light. You always have such great ideas!! T4S!!
So why not use spray paint instead of rub n buff? Would it give different results?
Why not just metallic enamel craft paint?
Shannon, white hot glue sticks for the win!!!!!
You could also use puffy paint
❤❤❤
Cute
We converted allllll of hundreds of ornaments to those cute swirl hangers a few years ago and bought all that Kroger had at the time thinking they’d last us forever. Sadly we ran out, we buy more new ornaments every year than we thought we did. I don’t see them linked so you just not have found them. I’ll have to do an image search and see if I can find them somewhere out in internet land!
Would love to see a video like this that shows how to use them still lit up. None of these did. :/
It said UNIQUE. Not light up
🤩❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
I think I’d rather keep the light-up necklaces in tact, and only use *broken* necklaces to craft with. The light-up feature is what makes them fun … none of these crafts light up :(
Place fairy lights inside the individual ones that she made first. I think that way too kind of defeats the point of light up bulbs!
Great ideas! Never saw a diy video like this. I love the silver light strand as well as the white lights with burlap.
yeah agree with you
Where is the Santa picture from?? ❤
Please tell me how yo find the free printable for the diy. Thank you, k
When removing the battery tabs for the necklaces, the battery becomes dislodged. You can use something that fits into the little slit and push the battery back down. It happened to me.
I have vision problems and the place mat needs to go!
Right?? Especially when she was tying the candy cane twine in front of that place mat! 😵💫 🍥😂
Id just buy white lights to begin with.
Agreed! I also thought it was kinda silly to paint the yellow bulb a “dark brown” and the red bulb white. WHY? Seems like it might work better to start with the green or blue bulb for the brown, and the yellow one for the white? Though either way you probably need two coats, so maybe it doesn’t matter? Still, you could probably use burned out real white nightlight bulbs, and repurpose them? Not with small kids, maybe, since they are actual glass. Reduce, reuse, recycle!
The fun with these necklaces is that they light up. I think these “crafts” are ruined because they don’t keep their fun appeal. Sorry, but I’m just not a fan. These crafts feel like a reach for something to make.
❤❤❤❤❤
