Sorry for asking a dumb question, but did you use an RCA to AUX cable in order to use the speakers for your laptop? You mentioned the YU only had the RCA port. I'm asking because this would mean I could use the YU for not only my record player, but my TV also
Great video. I like the sound of Kanto so got the Ora's and Sub8. I find the bass hard to get right. Is there firmware or EQ software for Kanto speakers that anyone knows of? Thanks
I had the TUK's and the 8 sub and sold them i am now having sellers remorse lol i may try the ORA 4's with a 8sub mind you the tuks are on sale right now for 799 ( canadian ) 579 ( US ) mmmmm what to do ? or do i go with the SWANS OS 10's this is all for my computer in a 10x8 foot office nice review by the way cheers from Canada
I just purchased the Kanto YU6 but opted for the Monolith M2-10 v2 sub from Monoprice. Got the sub for $529 and Kantos for $399. Really hoping this lives up for my custom built PC.
First of all, thanks for all of yours Kanto's reviews since they are very helpful for a total noob like me. I'm currently looking for a new set of speakers for my Gaming Pc (i also watch movies on it) and i have a small budget. Initially i was going to get the YU2, but they lack the Bluetooth connectivity which is a must for me because i also connect the speakers through my iphone. That's why the YU seems to be the best choice for me... BUT how could i connect them to my PC? I know it's a really dumb question, but as i said earlier i'm a total noob in this regard.. I assume i should use the RCA cables, shouldn't i? Could i loose some audio quality from the RCA connection (somebody told me that optical connection is the best)? Sorry for all the questions. Regards
Kanto YU + Kanto SUB8 = SWEET Combo!
I agree with you. These Kanto speakers are the best budget speakers on the market, as for your channel, the best tech channel I have found!
@@ThePieSnatcher Hey Hasan! Thanks for your feedback and your super kind words too my friend 🙂❤️
i just bought Kanto YU this week and love it! Now i want sub8 too :D

Soo did you review the Kanto sub8 or the sub 8 2022 edition with 300watts?
The version before 2022 is SUB6 not Sub8

You can use any powered subwoofer, I have my Kanto YU6 hooked up with a 10" Klipsch subwoofer...wow, it sounds phenomenal!
Yeap, you can! And thanks for your feedback, I have also heard the Klipsch sub too and love how it sounds 😃👌
Thanks, I love tech and tech channels. Subscribed!
@@drifterv2000 glad to hear that and thank you vertigo much for your subscription!
It's a pity, the speakers do not come with optical inputs.
